Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa

One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Dear Brother Burhan Zulfikar is said to be a sword of allah which was sent for Imam Ali(a.s.) what happened to it after Imam Ali Does it still exist
(There
may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum

Answer:
Sword of Hadrat
Ali
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can
misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We
bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Your comment: Zulfikar is said to be a sword of allah
which was sent for Imam Ali(a.s.)
It is indeed recorded in history
that Hadrat Ali’s sword was called ‘Al-Zulfiqaar’; but it is absolutely incorrect that
the sword was sent by Allah Subhanah for Hadrat Ali!!!
Allah Subhanah sends His Guidance and His
Prophets as a Mercy to mankind, not swords!
Allah Subhanah never ever sent a sword from
the heavens for any of His Prophets; thus to believe that He sent a sword for Hadrat Imam Ali (r.a.) is a wrong
and incorrect belief, and has absolutely
nothing to do with reality.
Your question: what happened to it after Imam Ali
It is most likely that after Hadrat Imam Ali (r.a.), his children might
have inherited his sword. Allah Subhanah Alone knows what happened to it.
Your comment: Does it still exist
There is no record that this
particular sword of Hadrat Ali (r.a.) still exists.
Hadrat Ali (r.a.)
had many swords, and I have personally seen one of Hadrat
Ali’s (r.a.) swords displayed at the
