One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
In religious drama series we often see people playing the role of mushrikeen and speaking their words. What is the ruling on speaking the words of the mushrikeen?

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

It is not permissible under any circumstances. The Muslim should not make himself resemble a kaafir or mushrik who is an enemy of Allaah and His Messenger, and of the Islamic religion. Neither should he make himself resemble the Shaytaan or Iblees who is the enemy of mankind. It is not permissible for a Muslim to do such things and speak the words of kufr by playing the role of Abu Jahl or ‘Utbah ibn Rabee’ah or any such person. And Allaah knows best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
