Dear Brother in Islam,

Please provide the following suggestions required to construct a new house in a decent way with the support if any HADITHS available for

a) Orientations of MAIN DOOR of the house should face QIBLA while going outside.

b) Any orientations for the toilets while constructing a house.

Doors and toilets facing while building house

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: Orientations of MAIN DOOR of the house should face QIBLA while going outside.

To the best of our knowledge we have not come across any hadith in the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) whereby it is declared that the main door of the house should face the Qibla, or otherwise!

The believers are at absolute liberty to make the doors and windows of their house face any which way and direction that is pleasing and acceptable to them and their convenience.

Your Question: …Any orientations for the toilets while constructing a house. 

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.388 Narrated by Abu Aiyub Al Ansari

The Prophet (saws) said, "While defecating, neither face nor turn your back to the Qibla.”

The Messenger of Allah (saws) forbade the believers from either facing or turning their backs towards the Qibla when relieving themselves; thus when constructing one’s house, one should arrange their toilets in such a way that when one uses it to relieve themselves neither their face nor their backs face the Qibla.
