Brother,

If one is a muslim, gets misguided turns to another religion, but later realises his mistake, reverts back to islam, will allah accept him and forgive him.

Answer:

Muslim turns apostate turns muslim

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If one is born or reverts to Islam, then disbelieves and leaves the fold of Islam, then realizes his grave error, seeks forgiveness from his Lord Creator and reverts back to Islam…..remains steadfast on his faith and does righteous good deeds thereafter and ultimately dies while in the state of ‘faith’…..indeed such a person will find his Lord Forgiving and Merciful.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
