Terrorism in USA

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His  forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,  no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Enough has been written and said about the recent attacks in New York;  in the news and through the internet,  and I would only be repeating their views if I went into the details.   Thus I will only write my opinion in a very precise manner.

What happened in New York and the loss of civilians in the attack is absolutely against all the principles of Islam.   Whoever committed these acts,  and what were their exact intentions are known to Allah Subhanah Alone.   Islam does not allow the killing of civilians even in a battlefield.

Allah commands the believers to stand up for the Truth and Justice at all times.   Thus when a wrong is committed,  we, as believers,  must condemn the wrong;  no matter who the wrong-doer is.

And brother,  the truth is,  there is no direct evidence or proof linking these attacks to the muslims… yet!    I personally feel that no muslim state or intelligence agency has the power to pull this off,  leave alone an individual living in the wilderness of the mountains of Afghanistan!!!!    There are obviously many conspiracy theories roaming around in the area,  and some of them do hold some credence.   Allah Alone knows who did this horrendous act,  and what are their exact motives behind these murders.

The American people are obviously human,  and one can understand their anger and their zest for revenge.    But to go and wipe out a country of 20 million people for suspecting one amongst them may have masterminded the attacks, is worse than what happened in NYC.   It will be just another act of terrorism,  and one ladder up on the spiral of events.    There is absolutely no justification for that… logically or legally… but the chances are the US will go through with their plan.   All this is going to accomplish is add more ill-will with the people who are already angry and seek revenge with the US for their unequivocal support of Israel.   

Anyways, all that is in the future and Allah Alone knows what the future holds; because whatever we humans might plan,  the Master Plan and the Outcome is always in the control of Allah Subhanah.

Although there is no direct proof or evidence,  the whole world has focused the blame on the muslims;  albeit on one individual!!!!    Even the US intelligence agencies have time and again admitted that they suspect Osama bin Ladin of doing this act.   The key word is ‘suspect’!!!   And since when did a ‘suspect’ become guilty in the realms of Law???

Anyways,  there is not much we can do for the time being,  except to make sincere supplication and ‘dua’ to Allah Subhanah to protect and help the muslims from the imminent onslaught coming their way.    Yes,  there might be some people who might by guilty,  but the sweep that has been prepared by the world powers is going to effect every believer.    We are always in need of Allah’s help and guidance,  and these times are no different.

May Allah help us and guide us to always stand by Truth and Justice.    May Allah give us the steadfastness and patience to deal with the situation.   May Allah save us from the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam.
