If a girls dead body is found then how can it decide that she is muslim or non muslim

How to determine faith of deed body

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If an unclaimed dead body of a woman is found, it will be the responsibility of the authorities/scholars of the region to determine whether the deceased was a believer or disbeliever so that they could dispose the body of the deceased accordingly.

To determine the faith of the deceased, they would look to see whether the place the body was found is densely populated by believers or not, the clothes in which the body is found, or whether there are any identifiable marks of prayer on the forehead, knees, ankles, etc….or anything else whereby it could be determined that the deceased was a believer.

If there is absolutely no evidence that the deceased body found is that of a believer, the authorities will treat the body as that of a non-believer and dispose it honorably.
