One will be raised with whom one loves hadith.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Assalamu Allaikkum,

Would you please send me a Hadith in which Allah’s Rasool (SAW) said. We will be raised along with the people we love them in this Duniya.

Jazak Allah

Answer:

One will be raised with whom one loves hadith

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5017 Narrated by Anas ibn Malik

A man passed by the Prophet (saws) when some people were with him, and one of those who was with him said, "I love this man for Allah's Sake." The Prophet (saws) asked if he had informed him, and when he replied that he had not, the Prophet (saws) said, "stand up and go to him and inform him." He stood up, went to him and informed him, and he replied, "May He for Whose sake you love me, love you!" He then returned, and when the Prophet (saws) had asked him and he had told him what he had replied, he (saws) said, "You will be with him whom you love and you will have the reward you sought from Allah."

Respected brother, please note that the terms of the hadith do not specify whether one will actually be ‘raised’ on the Day of Resurrection with one whom one loves, but without an iota of a doubt, in the Hereafter one would definitely be in the company of those whom one loves. And Allah Alone Knows Best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
