permitted to keep medicine in your mouth (strepsils as suffering from sore
throat) while doing the salah?

one get up during prayer (like after sunnah i get up to check in the kitchen
,while cooking food) and then come and continue the fard and nafil salah, is it
permitted?

Answer:
Keep food medicine
in mouth while praying
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Your
Question:…..is it permitted to keep medicine in your mouth (strepsils as
suffering from sore throat) while doing the salah?
The scholars and jurists in Islam are unanimous in their
opinion that eating, drinking, or chewing food in one’s mouth while one is in
the state of prayer is absolutely against the etiquettes of prayer; and in some
cases it might even invalidate one’s prayer.
There is absolutely no harm if one consumes or applies
medicine before or after their prayer, but to leave something in their mouths
while in the state of prayer would be against the etiquettes of prayer.
But if one’s ailment is such that one is required to leave
the ‘medicine’ or ‘remedy’ in one’s mouth at all times, or the absence of the
‘medicine’ from their mouths even for a while would deteriorate their health,
etc….then indeed one has a genuine excuse, and if one in such a condition
leaves the ‘medicine’ in the mouths while in the state of prayer, it is
expected that they will find their Lord Forgiving and Merciful.
Your

If one intends to offer multiple prayers like Sunnah,
Fard, and Nafl…..there is absolutely no requirement or obligation in Shariah
that the person must offer them consecutively or without any break in
between. If one has finished one of
their prayers, and wishes to get up and do a chore, and then come back and
fulfill their intention to offer the balance prayers, there is absolutely no
harm and no restriction whatsoever.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
