Assalamo Alaikum
Dear Mr. Burhan
Q.2 Person A: as it is prayer time, person A is going for
prayer, he is inviting person B to join him Person B: gets annoyed and say, you
go for prayer, donot force me. He says he is an adult and know what is
right and wrong..........
my question is: is
person A right or his fard to ask others to pray.
thanks
A sister

Answer:
Duty to invite to
pray
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 71: The believers, men and women, are protectors one of another:
they enjoin what is good and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah
is Exalted in Power, Wise.
If
the time of prayer has approached, and
Person-A is going for prayer, it would
be considered good character and a duty of a believer to invite his believing
brother politely to join him in prayer.
But if Person-A knows that his
invitation to Person-B will only instigate him, then it is best not to invite him in public; but talk to Person-B as his well-wishing
brother-in-faith in private, politely
and with humility; and invite him to
fear and obey Allah Subhanah as He deserves to be obeyed.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
Burhan
