I am running a partnership company where we supply compauter and parts to the comapnies and even do servicing and repairs including development of customized software for the companies. if a company is dealing in wine can i sell material to them and render my paid services to them kindly guide me. the company name is MOET HENNESSY

Sell IT solutions to alcohol company

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Maidah Verse 2 (part):

…..Help ye one another in righteousness and piety, but help ye not one another in sin and rancor. Fear Allah; for Allah is strict in punishment.

If one knows for sure and is absolutely convinced that the services one provides are towards a company or a business which deals exclusively in what has clearly been declared as ‘haraam’ by Allah and His Messenger (saws) (eg. Alcohol, gambling, ‘riba’, ‘fahisha’ (indecency), etc)……it would not be lawful for a believer who sincerely fears Allah and the Last Day to do anything which would facilitate their unlawful business.

If one abstains from providing any goods or services and thus facilitating a business which deals exclusively in the ‘haraam’ only because of the fear of Allah, it is expected that they shall have their full and due reward for their peity in the Presence of their Lord Most Gracious on that Inevitable Day of Judgment.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
