After having sex can a woman cook?
Mu' meneen Brothers
and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa
Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be
upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
after a woman has sex . does she have to ghusul to be able to cook?, and do a woman or man have to gusul to leave the house?, and can men and woman have sex outdoors, like in a park or under the sky or in a car?
(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)
Answer:
After having sex can
a woman cook?
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your question: after
a woman has sex . does she have to ghusul to be able to cook?
Your question: and do a woman or man have to gusul to leave
the house?
Ghusl or full bath for purity after sex is not necessary for a person to be able to cook, or leave the house, or do any other deed except prayer and recitation of the Quran. Only if the person intends to offer their prayer or recite the Quran, the ghusl would become obligatory.
If one does not perform the
ghusl immediately after sex, it would
be better and purer to perform the wudu (ablution) and go about ones chores or
duties, and perform the ghusl later
when one intends to pray or recite the Quran.
Your question: can
men and woman have sex outdoors, like in a park or under the sky or in a car?
There is absolutely no
restriction where a married couple can enjoy their sex, provided they are in absolute privacy and no
one is watching them. Thus if one
wishes to have sex outdoors (on a secluded beach, on the roof, in the
jungle, or anywhere under the sky!),
and are confident that they are alone and there is no one around, there is absolutely no harm.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.

Islam,
Burhan
