Answer:
Maintenance of
masjid
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
The main reason and wisdom
behind the declaration of the ‘adhaan’ aloud is to make aware to the believers
in the area that the time of offering the prayer has begun. In the times of the Prophet (saws) there were
obviously no loudspeakers; but in this day and age when technology has allowed
us the use of loudspeakers, it would indeed be best if the ‘adhaan’ is declared
through the loudspeakers so that the believers in a larger area are made aware
of the prayer timings.
If the authority or the
believers have appointed a board of trustees to look after the maintenance of
the ‘masjid’, it is their duty unto the believers to maintain the ‘masjid’ so
that the believers can worship their Lord in the best possible environment. If the state or condition of the ‘masjid’ is
in a state of disrepair only because of the ‘ego’ of one person, the leaders of
the community must politely but firmly warn that person to fear Allah and
either do the needful so that the House of Allah is properly maintained, or at
least allow the believers who wish to keep the ‘masjid’ in proper order to do
so. If after being sufficiently warned
the person, only because of his authority and ‘ego’ still does not amend his
conduct, he himself will bear the blame for his stubbornness in the Court of
Allah Subhanah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
