Soiled with urine punishment
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa
Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this
question:
Assalam O Alaikum,
Dear Brother Burhan, I was reading your answers to questions on DEATH,and could
not understand one paragraph, which is as follows: The Prophet (saws) passed by
two graves and said, "Both of them are being tortured in their graves, and
they are not being tortured for a major sin. This one did not save himself from
being soiled with his urine, and the other used to slander (among the people to
rouse hostilities, e.g., one goes to a person and tells him that so-and-so says
about him such-and-such evil things).” I could not understand the gunah of the
first man who did not save himself from being soiled with urine! Kindly explain
to me in detail. JazakAllah
(There may be some
grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not
change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our

Answer:
Soiled with urine punishment
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: I could not understand the gunah of the first man who did not save himself from being soiled with urine! Kindly explain to me in detail.
When one replies the call of
nature and relieves his urine, it is
obligatory on him to wash his private part thoroughly. The sin described is of those people who
urinate, but do not wash their private
part at all and thus let their clothes be soiled or touched by urine as a
result.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
Burhan
