Asslam-o-alikum

could you please let me know what is the meaning of name "Laai`bah? I heard its the name of one of the angels in janat-ul-firdous. If it is true, is it a good name to name a baby girl. Jazak-Allah-khair for all your help

Meaning name laibaah

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

The term and name ‘Laibah’ is probably derived from the previous scriptures and is indeed assigned as a name of one of the Angels of Paradise. Because the name is mentioned in the previous scriptures, we can neither confirm its authenticity nor deny it.

If one wishes to name their baby girl ‘Laibah’ there is absolutely no harm.
