Assalamualaikum wrwb,

One of my friends` name is Muheet but he spells it as Moheet. I spell it differently and pronounce it differently in an attempt to keep it different from the name "Mohit" which is very common in the pagan community. Untill this time, I was under a misconception that Muheet is one of the Allah`s 99 Attributes. I have just been through a website with the Attributes of Almighty Allah but didn`t find Muheet in that list. Can u plz tell the meaning of Muheet/Moheet.

Meaning name moheet

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 19:

19 Or (another similitude) is that of a rain-laden cloud from the sky; in it are zones of darkness and thunder and lightning they press their fingers in their ears to keep out the stunning thunder-clap the while they are in terror of death. But Allah is ‘Moheet’ (encompass or surrounds) the rejecters of Faith!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imraan verse 120:

120 If aught that is good befalls you it grieves them; but if some misfortune overtakes you they rejoice at it. But if ye are constant and do right not the least harm will their cunning do to you for Allah is ‘Moheet’ (encompasses) all that they do.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chatper 11 Surah Hud verse 92:

92 He (Shuaib) said: "O my people! Is then my family of more consideration with you than Allah? For ye cast Him away behind your backs (with contempt). But verily my Lord is ‘Moheet’ (encompasses on all sides) all that ye do!

The literal meaning of the Arabic term ‘Moheet’ is one that encompasses or surrounds. Although ‘Moheet’ is used several times as an attribute of Allah Subhanah in the Glorious Quran, it is not amongst the listed Exclusive Names of Allah Subhanah.
