Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

my question is i was a
muslim but not until resently i decided to convert to christainty. but now i
want to come back to islam, what happen to my work i did before when i was a

Answer:
Convert and revert past deeds
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help
and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and
whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness
that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Beloved Sister in Islam, amongst the gravest sins
in Islam is to turn back to polytheism after Allah Subhanah has guided one to
the Truth of Islam. All Praise is due to
none save Allah Subhanah Alone Who has bestowed His Mercy upon you and given
you the opportunity to revert back to the Truth of Al-Islam.
Your Question: what happen to my
work i did before when i was a muslim?will Allah (SAW) reward me of all my
previous work?
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10
Surah Yunus verse 61:
61 In whatever business thou mayest be, and whatever portion thou
mayest be reciting from the Qur'an, and whatever deed ye (mankind) may be doing;
We are Witnesses thereof when ye are deeply engrossed therein. Nor is hidden
from thy Lord (so much as) the weight of an atom on the earth or in heavens. And not the least and not the greatest of
these things but are recorded in a Clear Record.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21
Surah Anbiya verse 47:
47 We shall set up Scales of Justice for the Day of Judgment so that
not a soul will be dealt with unjustly in the least. And if there be (no more than) the weight of
a mustard seed, We will bring it (to account): and enough are We to take
account.
Dear and Beloved Sister, rest assured that every
deed a person does, even if it be no more significant than the weight of a mere
atom, it is recorded and preserved in a Clear Record! Rest assured that no good a person does in
the test period of his life with the intention to earn the Pleasure and Good
Will of their Lord Creator will go unrewarded in His Majestic Presence on that
Inevitable Day of Judgment.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25
Surah Furqaan verses 63-71:
The (true) servants of the Merciful are
those who walk humbly on the earth.
When the ignorant people behave insolently towards them, they say, “Peace to you”; (And those) who pass their nights in
prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord and pray, “O our
Lord, save us from the torment of
Hell, for its torment is killing! It is an evil abode, and an evil resting place”. (And those) who, when they spend are neither extravagant, nor miserly,
but keep the golden mean between the two extremes. (And those) who do not invoke any god but
Allah Alone, nor kill a soul
unjustly, which Allah has forbidden, nor commit adultery… He who does this shall
be punished for his sin, and his torment
shall be doubled on the Day of Resurrection,
and he shall abide in a state of ignominy; EXCEPT THE ONE WHO MAY HAVE REPENTED (AFTER
THOSE SINS), AND HAVE BELIEVED AND DONE
RIGHTEOUS DEEDS. For then, Allah will change his evil deeds into good
deeds, and He is very Forgiving and
Merciful. In fact, one who repents and does righteous
deeds, returns to Allah as one rightly
should!
Dear and Beloved Sister, leave alone the thought of
not being rewarded for the good deeds one might have done in one’s past, our
Lord Most Gracious, Most Bounteous is so Magnanimous and so Merciful to those
who turn back to Him in sincere repentance, that not only does He forgive them
all their evil deeds they might have done in their past, He has promised that
as a bonus for their repentance, He will change their evil deeds into good
deeds!
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due
to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well
wisher in Islam,
Burhan
