Assalam alaikum.

Qtv is an international channel,hope you know this channel.I watch the

programmes telecastedon it. The programmes,Sharai ahkam and Istekhara,in which many small concepts are concerned and the wazifas for our problems is given.Till what extent are these programmes correct I mean to ask are these programmes correct?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Dear and Beloved Brother, the truth is that I am not acquainted with this ‘QTV’ channel, thus we obviously would not be in a position or qualified to determine whether the programs relayed are in accordance with the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah or not.

The one and only way to determine the worth or quality of what is said on these or any other programs is to evaluate their opinion with the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
