Why didnt the Prophet (saws) reveal the date of the night of Qadr?

Almost all the
major Surahs in the Quran
revolve around the concept of Tawheed (Oneness of
Allah Subhanah) and the refutation of ‘shirk’
(associating others with Allah)!!! But these supposed ‘holy men’ will
never ever touch those Surahs of the Quran. These supposed ‘holy men’ do exactly
what Allah says in the Quran the holy men of the Jews
did to their people: taught their followers some verses of their Revealed
Scriptures, and concealed the rest!
I do not agree
with the questioner and with your reply. Our Janabs
do transtlate this shura
word by word, but the whole night they say that "It is the night of Maa Fatematuz Zehra"
and then they start bayans and maatam
for sufferings and wafat of Fatematuz
Zahra half of the night.
Can you tell us,
how many times rasule Khuda
(s.a.v.) and his close family members including Fatema, Ali did pray whole night on 23rd. of RAMADAN? I
would like to know, why the Allah taala has kept
every guessing about the actual date of this night?
And, why Rasule Khuda did
not spell out the correct date to the followers?

Why didn’t the Prophet (saws) reveal the date of
the night of Qadr?
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Your

Allah from the clear guidance and teachings of Allah and His Messenger
(saws).
No day and no night in Islam can
be dedicated to a human being… for each day and each night are nothing but the
Signs of Allah Subhanah; and He Alone is the Owner of
the Days, as well as the Nights! Allah
and His Messenger (saws) did not authorize any of the believers to dedicate any
day or night to anyone; thus whoever does so has done it without authority from
Allah and His Messenger (saws); and therefore their claims cannot be accepted
by the believers, who truly believe in Allah and the Last Day.

The Messenger of Allah (saws)
himself, and many of his companions and the noble ‘ahle-bayt’,
used to spend ten days and nights of Ramadan in ‘Iteqaaf’
or seclusion in the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, after the commandment of the
fasts of Ramadan were revealed. They
used to dedicate themselves to the worship of their Lord in these blessed days
and nights; thus it is very probable that the Prophet (saws), and many of
companions and ahle-bayt, spent the whole nights of
the last days of Ramadan in worship of the Merciful…. And not just the one
night of 23 Ramadan!
Your question. I would like to know, why the Allah taala has kept every guessing about the actual date of this night?

The true knowledge of exactly
why the All Knowing and All Wise Allah, kept the exact date of this Great Night
of Qadr hidden from the believers, is known to Him
and Him Alone.
But as believers, we are
encouraged in Islam to search for the wisdom behind each commandment of Allah
and His Messenger (saws), so that we may understand the command, and follow it
with more conviction.
Many Islamic scholars have given
many reasons behind the Wisdom of not declaring the exact date of Layla-tul-Qadr:
One opinion is that Allah did
this as a test for the believers, so that He may see who amongst His Slaves
recognizes the importance of this Blessed Night, and to see how hard they try
to search for it.
Another opinion,
is that it would encourage the believers, who truly believe in the promises of
Allah Subhanah about the importance of this Blessed
Night of Qadr, to worship Allah Subhanah
sincerely on all the odd nights of the last ten days of Ramadan. That way, one will be assured to get the
blessings of this Great Night of Qadr.
Another opinion, in hiding the
exact date of the Night of Qadr, would be to see who
truly is desperately seeking the blessings of Allah, and who is casual about
it! An example would be if one hides a
very valuable diamond in a building, and tells the people to go search for
it. Whoever knows and believes in the
value of the diamond, will work hard and search every nook and corner of every
room of the building! But if all were
told of the exact location of the diamond, all of them, the sincere as well as
the insincere, would simply go to the location and obtain it!
Allah Subhanah
Alone Knows Best the exact wisdom behind not declaring the exact date of this
Blessed Night of Qadr!
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 3.235 Narrated
by Abu Said Al Khudri
The Messenger of
Allah (saws) used to practice Itikaf (in the mosque)
in the middle third of Ramadan and after passing the twenty nights he used to
go back to his house on the 21st, and the people who were in Itikaf with him, also used to go back to their houses. Once in Ramadan, in which he practiced Itikaf, he established the night prayers at the night in
which he used to return home, and then he addressed the people and ordered them
whatever Allah wished him to order and said, "I used to practice Itikaf for these ten days (i.e. the middle third) but now I
intend to stay in Itikaf for the last ten days (of
the month); so whoever was in Itikaf with me should
stay at his place of seclusion. I have
verily been shown (the date of) this Night (of Qadr)
but I have forgotten it. So search for
it in the odd nights of the last ten days (of this month).”
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 98 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (saws),
said, "Search for Laylat al-Qadr
in the last ten days of Ramadan."

then some members of my family woke me up, then I was caused to forget it. So seek it in the last week.”

Allah's Apostle
(saws) said, "The Night of Qadr is in the last
ten nights of the month (Ramadan), either on the first nine or in the last
(remaining) seven nights (of Ramadan)."
Allah's
Messenger (saws) came to us as we had been arguing with each other about the
Divine Decree (al-Qadr). He was so annoyed that his face became as red
as if there had been squeezed on his cheeks the flesh of pomegranates. He said: “Is this what you have been
commanded to do? Is this with which I have been sent to you? Those who had gone before you were destroyed, as they disputed
about it. I adjure you! I adjure you not to fall into
argumentation in regard to it.”
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
