Are we going to be like we are right now or different? Black? white? yellow? or another color? are we going to be male or femele as we are in this world or choose what we want if in the paradise?

Answer:

How will one be raised in Paradise

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Beloved brother, all the questions you have asked are obviously related to the ‘unseen’, and the only knowledge man has been given of the ‘unseen’ is what is declared by Allah Subhanah in His Glorious Quran, or what He has made known to His Last and Final Messenger, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws).

The basic understanding of the life of the Hereafter, as declared in the Glorious Quran and the Sunnah, can be divided into two parts:

  1. The Righteous who will live in everlasting bliss in the Gardens of Paradise
  2. The wretched who will abide in the everlasting torture of the Hell Fire.

We assume that your questions are directed towards the Righteous and Fortunate people who will be in the Mercy and Grace of the Generous Lord in the Gardens of Paradise. This is how Allah and His Messenger (saws) have described the state of these fortunate dwellers of Paradise:

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 36 Surah Ya Seen verses 55-58:

Verily the People of the Gardens shall that Day enjoy in everything that they do; they and their wives will be in groves of (cool) shade, reclining on Thrones (of dignity). They shall have all kinds of tasteful fruits, and they shall have there, whatever they may desire. They will have been greeted with ‘Peace’, a Word (of salutation) from a Lord, Most Merciful.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 50 Surah Qaaf verse 35:

There they (the men and women of Paradise) shall have all that they will desire, and We have with Us yet more for them!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqan verses 15-16:

As them, “Is this (the Fire) better, or the everlasting gardens which have been promised to the God-fearing, righteous people (men and women)?”. That will be the recompense of their good deeds and the final destination of their journey, wherein, they will get everything they desire, and wherein they will dwell forever. This is a promise which your Lord has taken upon Himself to fulfill.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.303 Narrated by Abu Huraira

The Prophet (saws) said, "Allah said, 'I have prepared for My pious worshipers such things as no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and nobody has ever thought of. All that is reserved, besides which, all that you have seen, is nothing." Then he (saws) recited: "No soul knows what is kept hidden (in reserve) for them of joy as a reward for what they used to do." (32.17)

Q-1: At the ressurection off all man kind how old will someone be? Young? Old?

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 5648 Narrated by Abu Sa'id

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "The lowliest of the inhabitants of Paradise will be he who has eighty thousand servants, seventy-two wives, and for whom a round pavilion of pearls, chrysoprase and rubies as large as the distance between al-Jabiyah and San'a will be set up. Those who are to go to Paradise, who die whether young or old, will come into Paradise aged thirty and never grow older. The same applies to those who will go to Hell."

Sahih Muslim Hadith 6803 Narrated by AbuSa'id al-Khudri ; Abu Hurayrah

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘There would be an announcer (in Paradise) who would make this announcement: “Verily! There is in store for you (everlasting) health, and that you should never fall ill, and that you live (for ever) and do not die at all. And that you would remain young, and never grow old. And that you would always live in affluent circumstances and never become destitute, as words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, are: "And it would be announced to them: This is the Paradise. You have been made to inherit it for what you used to do."

Q-2: Are we going to be like we are right now or different? Black? white? yellow? or another color? are we going to be male or femele as we are in this world or choose what we want if in the paradise?

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 75 Surah Al-Qiyaamah verses 22-25:

22 Some faces that Day will beam (in brightness and beauty)

23 Looking towards their Lord;

24 And some faces that Day will be sad and dismal

25 In the thought that some back-breaking calamity was about to be inflicted on them;

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verses 106-107:

106 On the day when some faces will be (lit up with) white, and some faces will be (in the gloom of) black; to those whose faces will be black (will be said): "Did ye reject faith after accepting it? Taste then the penalty for rejecting faith.”

107 But those whose faces will be (lit with) white they will be in (the light of) Allah's Mercy; therein to dwell (for ever).

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 80 Surah Abasa verses 38-41:

38 Some Faces that Day will be beaming.

39 Laughing rejoicing.

40 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained;

41 Blackness will cover them:

In light of the various verses from the Quran and Sunnah, it seems that the fortunate dwellers of Paradise will be bestowed with the most awesome looks and features, and it is a guarantee from the Majestic Lord that whatever He will bestow the receivers will be well-pleased with what they receive!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 119:

Allah will say: "This is a Day on which the Truthful will profit from their Truth: theirs are Gardens with rivers flowing beneath their eternal home: Allah well-pleased with them and they with Allah: that is the Great Salvation (the fulfillment of all desires).

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 98 Surah Al-Bayyinah verse 8:

Their reward is with Allah: Gardens of Eternity Beneath which rivers flow; They will dwell therein for ever; Allah well pleased with them and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.

Q-3: what about a baby who died the same day he or she was born?

Khansa, daughter of Mu'awiyah ibn Sarim, states that he related her aunt's following account: "I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah! Who will be in Paradise?' The Prophet (saws) said, 'Prophets will be in Paradise, martyrs will be in Paradise, and babies will be in Paradise'."

Related by Ahmad.

It is the declared Justice of Allah Subhanah that He does not test nor punish anyone to whom His Message of Guidance has not been reached. Thus it can be deduced that those who died in their infancy or before their age of puberty or understanding, or those who were born insane, etc. will be held exempted from the test given to mankind.

Ali reported that the Prophet (saws) said: "The pen is raised for three groups [of people]--that is, they will not be responsible for their actions: the insane until they become sane, those who are sleeping until they awaken, and the young until they reach puberty."

This is related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, and at-Tirmidhi.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
