One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear brother burhan please mail me as soon as possible
i will really appretiate if you can not put this question on the website just reply to my mail . please mail me as soon as possible as i am in great distress.
i had written a mail last year and you had given me your number but after that i got better so i thought there was no need to call up. but now after a year i am getting bad thoughts again . thoughts of saying the three words to my wife .
first everyone was saying it was magic now they say it is depression . dont know what it is . i love my wife a lot. but these words just keep on coming to my head . what should i do. i am praying to allah . i am a god fearing guy .i have never hurt any one. nor i have disobeyed my parents with whoes giudance i got married. believe me i feel like killing my self before saying those words but that is also haraam . if it is magic what should i do . if it is sataan telling me to do what shoould i do and if it is depression what should i do . what could be other reasons that are possible for this . allahs knows what is best for me but this test is really killing me from inside. i cry every day and every minute for allahs mercy to come . i hope allahs mercy is shown in time. please do not put this on the web as members of my family read this forum

Depression magic divorce

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Beloved brother in Islam, considering the severity of your situation, we humbly request your understanding as we feel that writing an answer to your condition would not be the correct remedy for your situation.
