Answer:
Difference between Ghusl, full
bath
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Q-1: Difference between ghusl /
bath / full bath (for valid wadu) ?
‘Ghusl’ is the Arabic term for a
full bath, with the intention to purify oneself from major physical or sexual
impurities. Anyone who performs a ‘ghusl’ or full bath would be considered in the state of wudu and available for prayer,
unless he breaks the wudu or ablution.
Q-2: When I wake up, I sometimes see one or more
drops of clean unsticky fluid. Do I have to take full
bath or can I merely wash the private parts
and replacing the inner cloth that I weared? ( To perform namaz)
Other than urine, there are two types of discharges that
are released from a man’s private organs:
Madhi (a sort of slow release of
lubricant just prior to a full sexual discharge)
Mani (a full sexual discharge)
If only Madhi is released, one
does not require a ‘ghusl’ or full bath to purify
himself; he must wash his private parts and the part of his clothes or body
where the ‘madhi’ has touched, do the wudu, and he would be available for prayer.
If Mani is released, then one
would require a ‘ghusl’ or full bath to purify himself.
If one occasionally experiences a fluid discharge when one
wake up, it might be possible that the person has had a ‘wet-dream’ which he
does not remember, and it would be best if the person performed a ‘ghusl’ or full bath of sexual impurity to purify himself
for prayer.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
