Prophet (saws) knew everything

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Dear Mr.Burhan,

Reading this answer of yours has made me realize how weak your knowledge concerning the book is.First of all no one has ever said that 'dhalika ...',that,is for Ali (as).Though I don't know arabic but I know that much as to 'dhalika.' stands for that n  not this. You see when you answer such questions you should first be a practicing muslim yourself and then start preaching as oyu are literaly misguiding a number os people for whom you will be answerable to the Prophet on the day of judgement. In fact the Hadithe Saqalain stands for two things which the prophet left after him to follow and that is the Holy book and the ahlulbayt. But it seems so wierd that the so called muslims want the Prophet but not his family. If you were told just now by anyone that we want you as a friend but not your family,Iam sure you will never look at them again but than think what the Prophet musy be going through.

The 2nd thing, you said that the Prophet used to fast on the 10th of muharram, can oyu show me where it is written?or will you tell me that the Prophet did not know that his grandson will be martyred on that dat and that is why he fasted?

Never can the Prophet fast on the day when his grandson's enemy were to rejoice and fast as the mother of Yazid had fasted that day in support of her son.

THE PROPHET KNEW EVERYTHING BEFORE HAND AND SO DO THE IMAMS AS THEY ARE APPOINTED BY ALLAH(SWT)HIMSELF.So plz stop replying to questions of which you have no knowledge or you have enemity towards the followers of the 12 infallibles,so you want to misguide those who want to know the truth. As the ones who said 'hasbuna kitaabullah..'are the ones who are lost. You see if you were given the books of all subjects and you were told that they are enough for you to become a doctor?you don;t have to go to school or teachers?

same is with Quran.

You cannot understand the Quran without its teachers and they are the ahlulbayt after the Prophet

Answer:

Prophet (saws) knew everything

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Statement-1: First of all no one has ever said that 'dhalika ...',that,is for Ali (as). Though I don't know arabic but I know that much as to 'dhalika.' stands for that n  not this.

Beloved sister in Islam, Allah is my witness, I have heard eminent scholars in long and lengthy public speeches trying to attribute ‘dhaalikal-Kitaab as ‘that (speaking) book’, namely Hadrat Ali ibn Abi Taalib (r.a.). Ask any scholar of the Shiite School of Thought, and he will confirm this to you!

Your Statement-2 : u are literaly misguiding a number os people for whom you will be answerable to the Prophet on the day of judgement.

My beloved sister in Islam, please note that the Last Messenger of Allah (saws) is not the Lord of the Day of Judgement, where (Allah forbid) he (saws) will call people to account!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 1 Surah Fateha verses 2-4:

2 Praise be to Allah the Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds.

3 Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

4 Master of the Day of Judgment.

Whoever believes that we will be answerable to the Prophet (saws) on the Day of Judgment, has in his/her ignorance, raised the Noble and Last Messenger of Allah (saws) to the rank of Allah Subhanah; and that would constitute a manifest form of shirk!

Every soul, including Prophet Mohamed (saws) himself, will be answerable to Allah Subhanah, Who Alone is the Lord and Master of the Day of Judgement.

Your Statement-3 : In fact the Hadithe Saqalain stands for two things which the prophet left after him to follow and that is the Holy book and the ahlulbayt. But it seems so wierd that the so called muslims want the Prophet but not his family.

There is no believer who sincerely loves Allah and His Messenger (saws), and would dare not to love, adore, respect, revere, and follow the righteous amongst the Ahle-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

But that does not give the believers the license to join the ‘ahle-bayt’ with Allah Subhanah in their invocation and worship! The people who are foremost in accusing the believers of not loving the noble ‘ahle-bayt’, are precisely the ones who have created sects in the Ummah, each with his own version of events, deen, rituals, and beliefs; who worship the graves and shrines of some of the family members of the Prophet; who commemorate the birthdays and their death-days of the noble Ahle-Bayt with self-invented rituals and rites; who beat themselves in frenzy over their names and incidents, and who invoke them like one should invoke Allah Subhanah Alone, etc.

If one is looking for something really weird; then he would not have to look further than the people who are constantly brandishing the ‘Hadithe-Saqalain’ as their motto and mission……..it is indeed weird that these same people neither follow the Holy Book, nor the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws), nor the Sunnah of the righteous amongst the Ahle-Bayt! And they claim to uphold the ‘Hadithe-Saqalain’!!!

Invoking personalities in their graves to help or intercede for us is a manifest form of the heinous and unforgivable sin of ‘shirk’, even if that personality is Prophet Mohamed (saws) himself! Allah Subhanah Alone is the Creator and Sustainer of everything in existence, and He Alone deserves our invocations, our submission, and our worship.

Your Question-4 : The 2nd thing, you said that the Prophet used to fast on the 10th of muharram, can oyu show me where it is written?

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 5.172 Narrated by Hadrat Aisha, Umm-al Mumineen.

'Ashura' (i.e. the tenth of Muharram) was a day on which the tribe of Quraish used to fast in the pre-Islamic period of ignorance. The Prophet (saws) also used to fast on this day. So when he (saws) migrated to Medina, he (saws) fasted on it and ordered (the Muslims) to fast on it. When the fasting of Ramadan was enjoined, it became optional for the people to fast or not to fast on the day of Ashura.

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2070 Narrated by Hadrat Hafsah, Umm-al Mumineen.

There were four things the Prophet (saws) never omitted: fasting on Ashura', the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah and three days every month, and praying two rak'ahs before dawn.

Your Question-5: or will you tell me that the Prophet did not know that his grandson will be martyred on that dat and that is why he fasted?

Allah Subhanah Alone is the Owner of the Knowledge of the seen and the unseen; be it from the past, present and future!

If one is a believer, then it is a condition of his belief to believe in every Word of the Holy Quran! And the Holy Quran itself declares that the Messenger of Allah (saws) did not have any knowledge of the ‘unseen’ or things to happen in the future, unless he was specifically informed by the All-Knowing, All-Seeing Lord.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf verse 188:

Say (O Prophet (saws)): "I have no power over any good or harm to myself except as Allah willeth. If I had knowledge of the unseen I should have multiplied all good and no evil should have touched me. I am but a warner and a bringer of glad tidings to those who have faith."

The above Aayahs are absolute proof that the Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws) did not have the knowledge of the unseen, nor did he know what was going to happen in the future; unless and until he was specifically informed by inspiration by the All Knowing Lord!

Your Statement-6: Never can the Prophet fast on the day when his grandson's enemy were to rejoice and fast as the mother of Yazid had fasted that day in support of her son.

Allah Alone knows what Yazid and his mother did and did not do; neither are the believers commanded to follow them, nor is it of any concern to the believers whether Umm-Yazid fasted or not on the Day of Aashura; they will be responsible for their deeds and we for ours in the Court of Allah Subhanah.

There are several authentic narrations from the wives and companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws) which state that the Messenger of Allah (saws) fasted on the 10th of Muharram each year!

Our choice is to either believe you, or believe the authentic narrations of the Messenger of Allah (saws)!

Statement-7: THE PROPHET KNEW EVERYTHING BEFORE HAND AND SO DO THE IMAMS AS THEY ARE APPOINTED BY ALLAH(SWT)HIMSELF.So plz stop replying to questions of which you have no knowledge or you have enemity towards the followers of the 12 infallibles,so you want to misguide those who want to know the truth

The Only One Who Knows Everything, is the All-Knowing, All-Aware, Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything that exists in between: Allah Tabarak wa Taala!

Any person who believes that anybody or anything other than Allah Subhanah knows ‘everything’, be they the Holy Prophets appointed by Allah, or the noble Imams appointed by men, etc.; these people are guilty of sharing an Exclusive and Blessed Attribute which belongs to Allah Subhanah Alone, with one amongst His creation!

And that is absolute and manifest ‘shirk’!!!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verses 50-51:

50 Say (O Mohamed): "I tell you not that with me are the treasures of Allah; nor do I know what is hidden; nor do I tell you I am an Angel. I but follow what is Revealed to me." Say: "Can the blind be held equal to the seeing?" Will ye then consider not?

51 Give the warning to those in whose (hearts) is the fear that they will be brought (to judgment) before their Lord: except from Him they will have no protector nor intercessor: that they may guard (against evil).

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 27 Surah Naml verse 65:

Tell them (O Prophet), “None but Allah has the knowledge of the ‘unseen’ in the heavens and the earth. And they (your deities) do not even know when they will be raised back to life!”

May Allah Subhanah have Mercy and guide the people who constantly try to raise the Holy Prophet (saws), His noble and chaste Ahle-Bayt (may Allah be pleased with them all), and the righteous Imaams, etc. to the position and rank of Allah Almighty!

Your Statement-8: You see if you were given the books of all subjects and you were told that they are enough for you to become a doctor?you don;t have to go to school or teachers?same is with Quran. You cannot understand the Quran without its teachers and they are the ahlulbayt after the Prophet

Beloved sister in Islam, your logic is indeed sound! Allah Subhanah did not send mankind a Book Alone, but the Merciful Lord appointed the best of all teachers mankind has ever witnessed in the annuls of life: Prophet Mohamed (saws)!

The Messenger of Allah (saws) taught the deen to his noble companions and his righteous and noble Ahle-Bayt, and they taught it to those who came after them, and they to those who came after them! But all throughout the history of Islam, the sources of knowledge remained the teachings and guidance of Allah Subhanah and His Messenger (saws)!

Sahih Muslim Hadith 1885 Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah

That the Prophet of Allah (saws) said in a sermon: “The best speech is that which is embodied in the Book of Allah, the Al Quran; and the best guidance is the guidance given by me, Mohamed (saws). The most evil affairs are the innovations, and every innovation is an error.”

No believer, who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day, doubts that the righteous amongst the noble Ahle-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah (saws) were great Imaams and teachers of the deen; and it is inconceivable to even imagine that they might have taught something other than the Quran and Sunnah, or that they might have added or subtracted from the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah!

Thus if one looks at the sects of people who claim to follow and learn their deen of Islam from the noble Ahle-Bayt, and finds that:

  1. They believe that Prophet Mohamed (saws) had full knowledge of everything; the unseen, the past, the future! (Directly against the Guidance of the Quran!)
  2. They believe that the noble and righteous Imaams were chosen and appointed by Allah Subhanah! (Directly against the Guidance of the Quran and Sunnah!)
  3. They invoke Prophets, Imaams, and other righteous slaves of Allah Subhanah who died long ago in their graves! ((Directly against the Guidance of the Quran!)
  4. They build shrines, tombs, and places of worship over the graves of their pious leaders and slaves of Allah! (Directly against the teachings of the Sunnah!)
  5. They commemorate the birthdays and death-days of the noble Ahle-Bayt and the Imaams! (Directly against the teachings of the Sunnah!)
  6. They invent their own rituals and rites of worship in the name of the noble Ahle-Bayt and Imaams. (Directly against the guidance of the Quran and Sunnah!)
  7. They wail and beat themselves when commemorating the incidents of war that took place in Karbala almost 1,350 years ago! (Directly against the teachings of the Sunnah!)
  8. And by doing rites and rituals, they seek to please the Prophet (saws), his noble Ahle-Bayt, and the righteous Imaams….so that they may ask them to intercede for them and help them in the Court of Allah Subhanah! (Directly against the Guidance of the Holy Quran!!!)

Thus, my beloved sister, if a person does all or even one of the above, which are proven to be absolutely against the Holy Quran and the Sunnah….would you still say that these are the people who claim to have learned the deen from the noble and chaste Ahle-Bayt of the Messenger of Allah (saws), and they are following in their righteous foot-steps!

It is absolutely inconceivable and a blasphemy to claim that the Messenger of Allah (saws), his noble companions, his righteous Ahle-Bayt, and the righteous Imaams would ever guide towards anything but the Truth of the Holy Quran and Sunnah!

In conclusion, even though some people ‘think’ they are closely following the deen, or they ‘think’ that they love the Ahle-Bayt and the Imaams, or they ‘think’ their deen is based on the teachings of the noble Ahle-Bayt and the Imaams; these misguided people have moved far far away from the teachings of Allah and His Messenger (saws)!!!

It is absolutely inconceivable and a manifest blasphemy to even imagine that the righteous Ahle-Bayt or the noble and righteous Imaams would ever teach the believers to commit shirk, andbida’, and invent innovations, etc. in Islam!!!

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), he can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
