respected brother burhan i want to ask question related to our daily life hope u will solve my problem under the light of quran and sunnah.

my first question is tht:-

MANY PEOPLE SAYS THAT THE TERM COCA-COLA(well known softdrink) MEANS NOMADEENA NO RASOOL IS IT TRUE .

SECONDLY:-

I HEARED MANY TIMES THT DRINKING THESE SOFTDRINKS ARE HARAM AND ONE THING IS THT THE THINGS EADABLE THINGS MANUFACTURED BY JEWISH COMPANIES OR BY ANY NON-MUSLIMS ARE HARAM ON MUSLIMS BECAUSE BY THE INCOME OF THT THINGS THESE PEOPLES USED THT MONEY FOR THE DISTRUCTION OF MUSLIMS AND ISLAM SO THTS Y IF WE PURCHASE SUCH THINGS THEN IT MEANS THT WE ARE HELPING THEM  ONE THING WHICH IRRITAETES ME MOST IS THT NOW A DAYS I THINK THERE ARE MANY THINGS UNDER IN OUR DAILY USAGE IS MANUFACTURED BY THEM (NON-MUSLIM COMPANIES) AND THE FUNNY THING IS THT WE MUSLIMS FEEL PROUD TO USE THESE THINGS WE SAYS THT THESE ARE BEST BY QUALITY AS WELL AS BY QUANTITY  AND ACCORDING TO OUR RELIGION IF WE GO BACK IN PAST OUR HOLLY PROPHET(P.B.U.H) AND HIS WIVES AND SAHABA-E-IKRAM ALSO PURCHASES MANY THINGS COME IN DAILY USE BY JEWS FACT IS THT AT THT TIME THE  JEWS WERE CALLED THE TRADERS OF THT THINGS  SO WHEN OUR HOLLY PROPHET CAN USE THEN WHY SHOULD WE NOT USE NOW DAYS.

AND THE THIRD AND LAST ONE IS THAT:-

IN BOOKS OF SAHA-SATA IT IS WRITTEN THT OUR HOLLY PROPHET (P.B.U.H) TAKE MONEY AS LOAN FROM JEWS WHY AT THT TIME HE DOES SUCH A THING EVEN AT THT TIME MANY MUSLIMS ARE WELLOF THEN WHY RASOOL(P.B.U.H) TAKE LOAN A GREAT MANY TIMES BY NON-MUSLIMS.

Coca cola and soft drinks haraam

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Q-1: MANY PEOPLE SAYS THAT THE TERM COCA-COLA(well known softdrink) MEANS NOMADEENA NO RASOOL IS IT TRUE .

Some people have indeed tried to invert the term ‘coca-cola’ in English, and then read it in Arabic script to read ‘Laa Medina La Rasool’; and claim this is a conspiracy by the Jews to inadvertently effect the thought of the muslims!!!!

The truth of the matter is that the Jews and the Christians do not believe in the Prophet Mohamed (saws) and they say so openly…thus, they do not have to go to such lengths to declare their belief!

This linking of the term coca-cola to Medina and Rasool is no more than the paranoia of some idle mind, and there is absolutely no truth in it!!

Haraam is only what Allah and His Messenger (saws) have declared haraam! The soft-drinks are not intoxicants, and thus they are not haraam.

It may indeed be true that the majority of Jewish companies support the state of Israel with their money, and thus harm the muslims and the Cause of Islam. But to say that it is haraam to consume what Allah and His Messenger (saws) have declared halaal, just because they are produced by Jewish companies is not the correct view or opinion in Shariah.

A muslim may, if he wishes to do so, abstain from consuming such products made by Jewish companies as he does not want the money he spends on these products to be used against his muslim brothers; but that would not make the halaal products: haraam!

It is indeed true that the Messenger of Allah (saws) would at times of severe need, take a loan from the pagans in Makkah or from the Jews in Medina. Even though the Prophet (saws) was the undisputed leader of the believers, Hadrat Aisha narrates that more often than not, there was starvation in the noble household of the Prophet (saws). It is also true that there were some muslims like Hadrat Abu Bakr (r.a.), Hadrat Uthman (r.a.) and Hadrat Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Awf (r.a.) whom Allah had blessed with wealth; but it did not behove the noble and righteous self-respect of the Prophet (saws) to take a loan in his personal capacity from these noble companions.

When the occasion arose, the Messenger of Allah (saws) would indeed ask the believers to spend in the Cause of Allah Subhanah and Islam; but no matter how needy or strained he was, he would never ask monetary help from the believers for his personal self or needs. Such was the high character and integrity of the noble Prophet of Allah Subhanah. Compare the character of the noble Prophet with the leaders and kings of the muslim nations today and one will realize the difference! Our leaders and kings today are more interested in filling their personal bank balances and seats of power, rather than serving the cause of muslims and Islam!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
