Can we to with Ghosts, Jinns etc?
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa
Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Subject: Unphenominal
sightings
Dear Burhan,
Everybody must have heard the
stories of the unphenominal & unphenominal sighting, and many must have
experienced it.
Q1. In the old times I am not
interested but Is it possible for any human in this 21stcentury to
see, feel or talk to the people of the other side I mean Angels, Ginns,Ghost
(Dead people Souls/spirits), Imams, Caliphs Etc?
Q2. What does Islam and Quran
say can we humans see, feel or talk to the people of the other side or
not?

Answer:
Can we to with Ghosts, Jinns etc?
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He
allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there
is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!)
worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is
His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Yes, I guess almost everyone might have heard the
‘stories’ of the ‘unphenominal sightings’; and they are basically just that:
stories! There is no concrete proof
given by anyone regarding these ‘sightings’, and in my humble opinion these
‘stories’ are but a combination of fear, phobia, imagination and Hollywood
fantasy!

It is not possible for human beings in the 21st
century to talk to the Angels, souls of
dead people, etc. Although some people
do claim to talk to the Jinns, there is no concrete proof. And again in my opinion it is a combination
of fear, phobia and imagination of the people who claim to correspond with the
Jinns. Allah has created the Human
Beings and the Jinns as two distinct creations and they have very little to do
with each other. Both live in their
own spheres of creation as decreed by their Lord and Creator and they are
independent of each other.
Your Comment: What does Islam

In light of the Holy Quran, Allah has mentioned the
creation of the Angels, the Jinns and the Human Beings. The Angels do not have a ‘will’ of their
own, and they simply obey the commands of Allah Subhanah. Only the Human beings and Jinns have been
given a ‘free will’ and they have the capacity to choose between right and
wrong, Truth and falsehood, obedience and dis-obedience to their Creator, and formulate their own paths.
Ref:
Angels.
Only the Prophets of Allah and some specified people (like
Hadrat Maryam, etc.) received and spoke to the Angels who came as Messengers
from Allah. Angels do not come and
correspond with normal people. Allah
has assigned them their duties like recording the deeds of every
individual, protecting the individual
according to the commands of Allah, taking out the soul of the person at the
time of his death, and at times they
are sent by Allah to destroy the habitations of the ungrateful and disobedient
peoples. Other than the Messengers of
Allah and some specified people in the Quran, it is not possible for human
beings to see, feel or talk with the Angels.
Ref:
Jinns.
Like the human race, the Jinns are a creation of
Allah. They are born, they die, and
spend their lives similar to ours in a sphere of their own. They have their own sets of trials and
tribulations, worries and happiness, pain and relief, obedience and
dis-obedience to Allah, etc. like the
human beings. They too have a ‘free
will’ to choose between obedience and dis-obedience, right and wrong, Truth and
falsehood; and they too will be gathered by Allah on the Day of Judgment to
give a full accounting of their deeds.
They are a distinct creation from the human race, and the
human beings and jinns have very little or no real interaction between each
other.
Some people do claim to see and conversate with the Jinns,
but mostly these accounts are either heresay or imaginations of the
people. Allah Alone Knows Best.
Ref:
Ghosts of dead people.
There is absolutely no such thing, and since there is no
such creation as ‘ghosts’, no one can see, feel or talk to them! When one dies, the angels take the ‘soul’ of
the dead to a holding place known as ‘barzakh’. No soul can leave that place of ‘barzakh’ and no human can
connect with the ‘souls’ in ‘barzakh’. All the stories that one hears about
ghosts and souls of the dead people returning to earth to correspond with their
loved and/or hated ones, are nothing but lies and fabrications.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.

Burhan
