One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

You so solemnly site the Seyedna, as you refer to him, as an intercessor to Allah who has committed shirk in your eyes. And thus you prefer to claim his invocation to Allah (vasila) as valueless. I ask you then two questions, hoping for an answer; what then was the miracle of Imam Hussain at a tender age when he sweetly invoked upon the Almighty Allah to grant seven children to the man who approached Rasulullah for blessings and prayer for a child? You have clearly made claim that no one and no body can translate or explain the quran, its meaning is transient with the virtue of its language and the chosen form of its publication to believers, as the book, how do you so boldly quote translations from it and claim that a 90 year old pontiff who has memorised it has no right nor claim to preach or make clear in terms of the context what the quran is revealing to people on earth?

The Miracles of Imam Husain.

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your comment: what then was the miracle of Imam Hussain at a tender age when he sweetly invoked upon the Almighty Allah to grant seven children to the man who approached Rasulullah for blessings and prayer for a child?

Brother, I too have heard this supposed ‘miracle’ of Imam Hussain (r.a.) in the Bohra wa’az. But the truth is that this incident is not reported in any of the authentic traditions of the Messenger of Allah (saws). Some unscrupulous people have fabricated many such miraculous ‘tales’ in the name of Imam Hussain (r.a.), which have absolutely no basis in Islam.

The speaking of Rasul Allah (saws) from his grave to Imam Hassan (r.a.) and Imam Hussain (r.a.) at the time of Hadrat Fatema’s death!

The lifting of the blood of his son, Ali Asghar, in the fields of Karbela towards the sky!

The speaking of his horse when Sakeena is holding the horse’s leg at the fields of Karbala!

The conversation of Imam Hussain (r.a.) with Hadrat Jibrael (a.s.), just before his martyrdom!

The speaking of Imam Hussain (r.a.) after his martyrdom to an old woman, when his severed head was taken by the enemies to Shaam.

Etc.

There are literally hundreds of such fascinating stories, which are fabricated and told in fiery speeches by these unscrupulous holy men to unsuspecting common people. Miracles are solely in the Power and Domain of Allah, and He bestows them only on His Prophets, and no one else!

Lets go through this ‘supposed’ miracle of Imam Hussain (r.a.), whereby he allots seven children to a person who has come to the Prophet (saws), asking him to make supplication to Allah. The Messenger of Allah (saws) says that Allah has not blessed this person with any offspring, and Imam Hussain (r.a.) apparently gives him one after another till a total number of seven, and that too at the constant objection of the Messenger of Allah (saws)! Then apparently Jibrael (a.s.) comes and tells the Messenger of Allah (saws) to stop objecting to Imam Hussain (a.s.), otherwise Allah will keep on giving as many children as Imam Hussain (a.s.) will allot to this person!!!!

This would mean, that when the Messenger of Allah (saws) was asked to make supplication for the childless person, Allah did not accept his supplication. But for Imam Hussain (r.a.), Allah immediately accepted his command! Thus apparently, it sure seems from the above story, that the maqaam of Imam Hussain (r.a.) is bigger in the sight of Allah, than even the Messenger of Allah (saws)! Whereas the truth is, that the high position and maqaam of Imam Hussain (r.a.) is only through the Messenger of Allah (saws)!

But the narrators of such false stories don’t just stop there! They fabricate miracles for every grave of their pious ancestors, and create and manufacture fantastic stories of unbelievable occurrings, until their deen becomes a list of lies and fabrication… rather than obeying Allah and His Messenger (saws). And then each grave becomes a place of worship and each is allocated according to its supposed miraculous powers. Some graves become famous for allotting offspring, some for relieving diseases, some for getting sustenance, some for removing ‘jinns’, some for removing perils, etc! And instead of begging and supplicating Allah for everything, the deen of these people become invoking and worshipping these graves for all their needs! And this is precisely what Allah terms shirk in the Holy Quran, and almost all the people whom Allah relates as misguided and committers of shirk, were swayed by such beliefs. These misguided people put their beliefs and trusts in the names of their Personalities, rather than putting their full trust in Allah Subhanah Alone!

There is absolutely no doubt from the clear guidance of the Holy Quran that miracles are solely in the Power and Domain of Allah, and He bestows them at His Will only to His Prophets and Messengers, as a sign for the unbelievers! No one else has the power to bring about a miracle!

May Allah take full retribution from the liars and fabricators, who misguide people with their false stories in the name of Islam.

We don’t know where you got this notion from, that we claim that no one can translate or explain the Quran! In fact, our position is quite the opposite. The Quran was revealed by Allah as a Mercy to all mankind, for our guidance. It is a duty of every believer that he must understand the Quran, so that he can follow its clear commandments and formulate his life accordingly. Allah Himself says in the Glorious Quran that this Book is easy to understand and its guidance is crystal-clear and perfect for all those who want to listen to good caution.

Allah says in Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah aayat 185: "Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this Book is a perfect guidance for mankind and consists of CLEAR teachings which show the right way and are a Criterion of the Truth and falsehood."

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 44 Surah Dukhan verse 58: We have made this Book easy in your own tongue so that they may ponder and take good counsel.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 1-3: Haa Meem. By this lucid (clear or open) Book. We have made it an Arabic Quran, so that you may understand it.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 1-2: These are the verses of the Book that makes its object perfectly clear. We have sent it down as a Quran in Arabic, so that you may understand it well.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 89: We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have surrendered themselves entirely.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 43-44: So, hold fast to the Book that has been revealed to you, you are surely on the Siraat al Mustaqeem. The fact is that this book is a great honor for you and your people, and soon you shall be CALLED TO ACCOUNT for it.

You have obviously mis-understood our whole position and have accused us of things which we have not done! The problem is that this ‘90-year old pontiff’ does not preach from the Quran, because if he did, he would be practicing what the Quran says! On the contrary, he preaches things which are directly against the Quran to unsuspecting followers who have absolutely no idea what the Quran is guiding towards, because he does not allow them to understand the very words of Allah Subhanah. He claims that only he and his family can understand the Quran, and one must follow and obey only them if they want to be guided aright! Allah has not allotted this sole agency and monopoly to any individual or family. The Glorious Quran is a Book of guidance revealed by Allah for all mankind, and it is the duty of every believer to understand and implement these commandments in his life.

The truth is brother, this ’90 year old pontiff’ does not preach from the Quran, because if he did, all his lies would be exposed! Nor does he allow his followers to understand the Glorious Quran, because if he did, his followers would leave his invocation and come to the invocation and worship of Allah Subhanah! His whole power-base is revolved around not allowing his followers to understand the Quran! He has engrossed his followers in fascinating stories and fiery speeches on the History of the Muslims, rather than guiding from the very Book of Allah! And the people blindly follow him, and assume that whatever this ’90 year old pontiff’ says is from the Quran… simply because they have absolutely no knowledge what the Quran is guiding towards. These unsuspecting followers think they are being rightly guided, but little do they know that this ’90 year old pontiff’ and his family are inviting them to the everlasting abode of the Fire of Hell!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 77-79: Do they really not know that Allah is fully aware of what they hide and what they disclose? Then there are among them some ignorant people who have no knowledge of the Book, but depend upon empty hopes and are guided by mere conjecture and guesswork. So woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say to the people, ‘This is from Allah’, so that they might gain some paltry worldly gain! This writing of their hands will bring woe to them, and what they gain from it will lead them to their ruin.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verses 34-35: O you who believe! There are indeed many among the priests and the holy men who devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar the people from the Way of Allah. Give them the good news of a painful torment, who hoard up gold and silver and do not expend these in the Way of Allah. The Day shall surely come when the same gold and silver shall be heated in the fire of Hell, and with it will be branded their foreheads, their bodies and their backs. (And it will be said): “Here is that treasure you had hoarded up for yourselves! Taste now the evil of your hoarded treasure!”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verses 103-106: Tell them (O Mohamed), “Should We tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard to their deeds? They are those, all whose endeavors in the worldly life, had gone astray from the Right Way, but all along they were under the delusion that everything they were doing, was rightly directed! Those are the people who rejected the Revelations of their Lord and did not believe that they would ever go before Him. Therefore all their deeds were lost, for We shall assign no weight to them on the Day of Resurrection. Their recompense is Hell for the disbelief they showed, and for the mockery they adopted in regard to My Aayahs and My Messengers!”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 25 Surah Furqan verses 26-30: The Real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful. And it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. The unjust man will bite at his hand and say, “Would that I had stood by the Messenger! Oh, woe to me! Would that I had not chosen so and so for a friend! For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Shaitaan has proved indeed very treacherous to man.” And the Messenger will say, “O my Lord, my people had made this Quran the object of their ridicule.”

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 31: They have made their scholars and their monks as their Rabbis besides Allah!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzab verse 66-68: On the Day their faces are rolled about on the Fire, they will say, “Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger!” And they will say, “O our Lord, we obeyed our CHIEFS and our GREAT MEN, and they led us astray from the Right Path. O our Lord, give them a double chastisement and curse them severely”.

Brother, one day everyone will figure out the Truth from the falsehood. If one figures this out in this life, and formulates his life according to the Quran, he will be saved from the Hell Fire. And if one lives his life in the pursuit and invocation of Personalities, and dies in that state… he will figure out the Truth on the Day of Qiyaamah. All the Personalities he invoked and worshipped with Allah will disown him in the Court of Allah, and only the promises of Allah made in the Glorious Quran will come out as true. All the false promises made by these Personalities of intercession and ‘shafaa’, will be proven false! And all those who clung to these false promises instead of the Truth from the Holy Quran, will have a terrible accounting on that Day!

Our duty is only to invite you to read and understand the Quran for yourself, and then differentiate the Truth of the Quran with the falsehood preached by these supposed holy men!

May Allah give you and us the wisdom and knowledge to differentiate between the Truth and falsehood.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
