Frozen Meat or Chicken Products in middle east halaal or haraam how to check
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
As Salaam Wa Alaikum,
Burhan Bhai How are you, I would like to ask
one question regarding the consumption of Poultry Product Like Frozen Chicken.
Questions are:
1) We are resident in Middle East, all Frozen
chicken is coming from Brazil (Sadia Chicken), Saudi Arabia ( Watania ). Their
process for slaughtering is through machine and we dont know that at the time
of slaughtering are they call Allah's name or not. in That case can we eat this
type of product?
2) About Sadia chicken, this product is from
Brazil, they also provide PORK product, here also we dont know that during
slaughtering they call Allah's Name or Not, Further to this we also dont know
for CHICKEN & PORK product they have seperate plant or the same plant?.
3) They all have certificate for HALAAL
product, can we trust them?
Kindly give your advice to us regarding this
issue point by point, bcoz we daily consume this product, if this HALAAL then good for us, in
case this Haraam then we have to avoid this and repent to our Allah for
forgiveness.
Waiting for your feedback soon.

Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
All the slaughter houses in various countries licensed to export meat products into the G.C.C. states have been physically and thoroughly inspected with due diligence that they are following the Shariah laws of Zabiha (slaughtering) by inspectors sent by the Municipalities under the auspices of their respective embassies. Therefore it is safe to assume that only halaal meat products will be available in the local super-market shelves of the Muslim countries. Those products that are not halaal will be distinctively marked for non-Muslim consumption.
