Answer:

Flickering of the eyes, Is it bad omen

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 57 Surah Hadid verses 22-23:

22      No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a Decree before We bring it into existence: that is truly easy for Allah.

23      In order that ye may not despair over matters that pass you by, nor exult over favors bestowed upon you.  For Allah loveth not any vainglorious boaster

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verse 35:

35      Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good (only) by way of trial: to Us must ye return.

Respected sister in Islam, know and believe with total and absolute conviction, that nothing, absolutely nothing in this Universe, good or bad, happens without the precise Will and Permission of the Lord Most High, Most Majestic.  Every good or evil condition one experiences in the life of this world is no more than a test and a trial from their Lord; to see who amongst man exults in pride and becomes boastful and arrogant when the Lord bestows them with a favor; and who amongst man despairs and loses hope in the Mercy of their Lord when afflicted by a calamity.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 67 Surah Al Mulk verse 2:

He (Allah) created death and life that He may test you, to see which of you is the best in deeds.

The shaking or flickering of one’s eyelids, or the twitching of one’s ears, or the itching of one’s hands or legs, or the position of the stars, or the lines of one’s palms, or anything else that happens or does not happen in the Universe does not in any way determine or provide any information regarding the good or the bad which is going to befall one!  These are mere superstitions which the ignorant have invented themselves, and superstitions have absolutely no relation or place in the Realms of Reality and Truth as guided and declared by Islam!

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 106-107:

And do not call besides Allah, any being that can neither do you any good nor any harm; for if you will do so, you shall be one of the doers of wrong.  If Allah afflicts you with a calamity, there is none to remove it, but He Himself.  Likewise, if Allah Wills to bestow a favor on you,  there is none to withhold Allah’s Bounty.   He bestows His bounty on anyone of His servants He wills.  And He is The Forgiving, The Merciful.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 133 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

The Messenger of Allah (saws) said:  “Don't you know what your Lord said?  Your Lord observed:  ‘I (Allah)  have never endowed My bondsmen with a favor,  but a section amongst them disbelieved it, and said: ‘stars, it was due to the stars!’”

If one believes that one is due any good or evil just because of the shaking of one’s eye-lids, or due to the position of the stars or the heavenly bodies, or due to the lines in one’s palm, or anything that happens or does not happen in the Universe….their this false determination would be tantamount to disbelief in the Power and Majesty and Decree of their Lord Creator, Most High, Most Supreme!

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),   one can be assured of never ever being misled;   but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is only ones. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
