Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Dear
Brother Burhan,
As
Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh
Please
Can you confirm me brother whatever mention below is correct or not
Hadith 1
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi
wasallam) said, "Without doubt, there is an Angel of Almighty Allah whom
Allah has given power to listen to the voices of all the people. Whenever any
persons reads a Durood Shareef, this Angel delivers the Durood Shareef to me. I
then plead to Almighty Allah for the person to receive ten blessing for reading
a single Durood Shareef". (Jaami'us Sagheer)
Hadith 2
Sayyiduna Abu Darda (radi Allahu anhu)
narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"Increase the Durood Shareef on the Day of Jummah for it is a Day of
Witnessing. It is a day when the Durood Shareef is presented to me. For that
person who reads the Durood Shareef, his voice reaches me wherever he is".
When it was inquired as to whether he would hear the voice even after leaving
this world, Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) replied,
"Yes, even after I have departed because Almighty Allah has made it Haraam
upon the earth to devour the bodies of the Ambiya". (Jalaa'ilul Ifhaam)
Hadith 3
It is reported that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah
(sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) was once asked about those who read the Durood
Shareef after he had passed away. He replied, "I listen personally to the
Durood Shareef of those who love me, while the Durood Shareef of others is
presented to me". (Al Qolul Badi)
Hadith 4
Sayyiduna Abu Amaama (radi Allahu anhu)
narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said,
"Almighty Allah has promised me that after I pass away, He will give me
the power to listen to every person who reads the Durood Shareef, even though I
will be in Madinatul Munawwarah and my followers will be the East and West. O
Abu Amaama, the entire creation has been placed in my tomb and I will see and
hear all creation. He who reads the Durood Shareef ten times will receive a
hundred rewards in return". (Durratun Naasiheen)
Hadith 5
If anybody reads 100 Durood Shareef on
Thursday evening then according to Ahadith,
70 necessities will be met in this life and 30 in the Hereafter.
On every Thursday Allah Almighty sends Angels to the earth in the afternoon.
They have silver leaves and golden pens which they use to record the Durood
Shareef of the reciter from that afternoon of Thursday till the sunset of
Friday.[11] The Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Peace and Blessings of Allah
Almighty be upon him) informed the Ummah, that reading Durood Shareef on
Thursday night and Friday is presented to him.
The Beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (Peace and Blessings of Allah Almighty be
upon him) has also informed us the best way to have our prayers answered, and
that is to start with and end with Durood Shareef
Jazak
Allah Khair

Answer:
Significance of
durood
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzaab verse 56:
Allah and His Angels send blessings on the
Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him and salute him with all
respect.
Respected brother, some parts of the narrations quoted by
you above are indeed found in the authentic and established records of Sunnah,
while there is no evidence for the other parts.
Amongst the narrations regarding the ‘durood’ which are considered
authentic are:
Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-'As reported that he
heard the Prophet (saws) saying, "If anyone invokes blessings upon me
once, Allah will bestow blessings upon him ten times over."
Realted by Muslim.
Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Prophet (saws)
said, "The people nearest to me on the Day of Judgment will be the ones
most conscientious in invoking blessings upon me." Related by Tirmidhi.
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws)
said, "Do not turn my grave into a site of festivities, but send greetings
to me for your greetings are raised to me wherever you might be."
Related by Abu Daw'ud.
Aus reported that the Prophet (saws) said,
"The best of your days is Friday, so send more and more greetings to me on
it, for your greetings are presented to me." They asked, "How are our
greetings presented to you while you are dead and your body is turned into
dust?" He (saws) replied, "Allah has forbidden the earth to consume
the bodies of the prophets."
Related by Abu Daw'ud and Nasa'i.
Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (saws)
said, "When any muslim sends greetings to me, Allah returns my soul to me
so that I may respond to his greetings."
Related by Abu Daw'ud.
Abu Talha Al Ansari said, "The Prophet
(saws) woke up one day cheerful and beaming.
His companions exclaimed, 'O Prophet of Allah (saws), you woke up today
cheerful and beaming.' He (saws)
replied, 'Yes! A messenger (Angel) of Allah, the Mighty and the Glorified, came
to me and said, "If anyone from your Ummah sends you a salutation, Allah
will record for him ten good deeds, wipe off ten of his sins, and raise him
thereby ten degrees in rank, and He will return his salutation with a similar
salutation".'
Related by Ahmad.
