One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
His daughter reached the age of puberty and died before the time of Hajj came. Does he have to do Hajj on her behalf?

Answer:

We put this question to Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah preserve him, who answered as follows:

Did she leave any wealth behind?

 If the answer is yes,

Then he should do Hajj on her behalf.

 And Allaah knows best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
