In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
The hadith you have referred to is indeed quoted in Sahih Bukhari (4.670) regarding the trial of three men from Bani Israel; ie. the leper, the blind and the bald. The Angel only caused the cure of the ailments of each of the three by the Precise Command and Will of Allah Subhanah Who wished to put them to a trial.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 82 Surah Infitaar verses 6-8:
6 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord, Most Beneficent?
7 Him, Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;
8 In whatever Form He Wills, does He put thee together.
It is Allah Subhanah Who has created mankind, fashioned each one of them in due proportion according to His Will, and in whatever form He Pleased, He shaped us. Thus as a believer, we must accept and be pleased with whatever is pleasing to our Merciful Lord and Creator.
If one is short, or tall, or fair-skinned, or dark-skinned, or bald, or with curly hair, etc., one should be pleased with the form that his Merciful Lord was Pleased to create him in. It simply just does not behove or befit a believer to be unsatisfied with the creation that was pleasing to His Creator.
To complain or be dis-satisfied with a form which the Lord Creator Himself has Pleased to provide is to show ungratefulness unto Him and His Innumerable Favors.
Thus one should look above these petty issues of height and color, and beg the Majestic and Magnanimous Lord for beneficial things like Emaan, faith, beneficial knowledge, righteous spouse and children, good character, and always seek His Good Pleasure and the ultimate and everlasting reward of Paradise..that would be akin to piety in the Sight of the Lord Most High.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allahs Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
