Answer:

Bath without shampoo

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Q-1: Brother i use a cream for my hairs which is made up of ingredients taken from animals.

There is absolutely no harm and no restriction in islam in using a cream made up of ingredients taken from animals.

Q-2: Can you please advise me that will my prayers be valid if i take a bath without shampoo though i take a bath properly the way advised.

There is absolutely no obligation that one has to use a shampoo to take a bath or ‘ghusl’. What is obligatory is that water is used as a purifying element when taking a full bath, and nothing of the body parts must be left dry. If one fulfills this condition using water, regardless of whether or not one uses extra cleaning substances like soaps or shampoos, etc.; one will be considered pure and available for offering his/her prayers.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
