Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

It is not prescribed to say the iqaamah except in the case of the five obligatory prayers only. There is no iqaamah for Eid prayers, prayers for rain (istisqa’), eclipse prayers (salaat al-kusoof) or naafil prayers.

In Fataawa al-Lajnah al-Daa’imah (7/234) it says: It is not prescribed to say the iqaamah before naafil prayers, rather iqaamah is only prescribed for the five obligatory prayers. End quote.

It also says (7/231): It is not prescribed to recite the iqaamah for the naafil prayers at all, because that is not mentioned in sharee’ah. End quote.

And Allaah knows best.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah's Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
