Answer:

Bohra girl wishes to marry Christian

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

A believing woman can marry none except a believer for the marriage to be considered lawful in the Sight of Shariah Law and in the Sight of Allah Subhanah. A ‘marriage’ between a believing woman and a disbelieving man (regardless if Hindu, Christian, Jew, etc.) is categorically forbidden, unlawful, haraam, null, and void in the Sight of Shariah Law and in the Sight of Allah Subhanah. Such an abomination of a ‘marriage’ has absolutely no legal status in Islam!

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 221:

221 Do not marry idolatrous women until they believe; a slave woman who believes is better than an idolatrous woman, even though she allures you. Nor marry (your girls) to disbelievers until they believe: a man slave who believes is better than a disbeliever even though he allures you. Disbelievers do (but) beckon you to the Fire. But Allah beckons by His Grace to the Garden (of Bliss) and forgiveness, and makes His Signs clear to mankind: that they may celebrate His Praise.

Your Question: ….will the Dai grant me permission .

Respected sister in Islam, the ‘dai’ may or may not give his permission, but we absolutely assure you in the light of the Guidance of the Glorious Quran….it is not lawful or legal for a woman who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day to marry anyone except a believer!

When Allah Subhanah, the Lord of the Worlds Himself has prohibited something, there is no ‘dai’, no ‘imam’, no ‘Prophet’ who has the authority to make lawful what the Lord Most Majestic has Himself Declared as unlawful!!!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
