False certificates lies.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh

Person who is married and staying alone abroad, his company doesn’t provide family status because of his low job profile and he know that staying away with wife for more than 4 month is not allowed in Islam, what should he do? He have good long experience in work and able to manage higher responsibility but he don’t have higher qualification certificate to get family status, Can he add any false qualification certificate and false previous experience for getting high salary and family status from company or for getting family visa from local Govt. please note: he don’t want to continue study.

Some of them bring their wife in visiting visa / umrah visa and continue to keep them till Govt. implement some strict rules, then they send them by some false way,

This question arises because today most of them are producing duplicate certificate or duplicate necessary documents only for getting higher salary or for family status, how can we make them understand that what they are doing is not right. Also in some case the person tells that he explained his problem with his manager then his manager himself told to do the procedure by other way.

Answer:

False certificates lies

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: ….Person who is married and staying alone abroad, his company doesn’t provide family status because of his low job profile and he know that staying away with wife for more than 4 month is not allowed in Islam, what should he do?

There is absolutely no harm and there is nothing in Shariah Law which prohibits or disallows a husband and a wife to stay away from each other provided there is a genuine reason to do so….regardless of whether the time is four months or four years.

If for any reason the husband who works abroad is unable to call his wife to stay with him, he has the option of staying alone to earn his livelihood; or leave the job abroad and seek to earn his livelihood in a place where he can stay with his wife.

Your Question: Can he add any false qualification certificate and false previous experience for getting high salary and family status from company or for getting family visa from local Govt. please note: he don’t want to continue study.

Beloved Brother, it would not behove the character of a true believer in Allah and the Last Day to lie or give false witness. Allah Subhanah commands the believers to always speak the Truth and give witnesses on the side of the Truth, even if it be against one’s own self.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 135:

O ye who believe! Stand out firmly for justice as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts) lest ye swerve, and if ye distort (justice), or decline to do justice; verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah Ahzab verse 70:

70 O ye who believe! Fear Allah and (always) say a word directed to the Right.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.7 Narrated by Abu Bakra

Allah's Messenger (saws) said thrice, "Shall I not inform you of the Biggest of the Great Sins?" We said, "Yes, O Allah's Messenger (saws)" He (saws) said, "To join partners in worship with Allah; to be undutiful to one's parents." The Prophet sat up after he (saws) had been reclining and added, "And I warn you against giving forged statement and a false witness!; I warn you against giving a forged statement and a false witness!" The Prophet (saws) kept on saying that warning till we thought that he (saws) would not stop!’

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 8.116 Narrated by Abdullah

The Prophet (saws) said, "Truthfulness leads to righteousness, and righteousness leads to Paradise. A man keeps on telling the truth until he is recorded with Allah as ‘a truthful person’. Falsehood leads to Al-Fajur (i.e. wickedness, evil-doing, etc.), and Al-Fajur leads to the (Hell) Fire! A man may keep on telling lies till he is written before Allah, ‘a liar’."

In light of the above commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws) it would indeed be a grave sin and not befit the character of a true believer to lie in order to gain a paltry advantage for himself in this world!

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
