Missed magrib reached isha congregation.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
As
Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
First of all i would like to appericiate efforts of all your team and thanks
all of you that you have made it possible for all of us to remove our
misconception regarding ISLAM whether they are small or bigger. Inshallah Allah
will give return of this, which we can`t imagine. May Allah Shower his blessing
and mercy upon all of us.
I want to ask you regarding salah, suppose someone is regular with his salah
and one day he missed maghrib (for example) and he couldn`t pray till Isha.
When he reached masjid Isah salah was going on, now this man will join the
Jama`t and will finish his Isha salah or he has to finish his Qaza of magrib
first and then he has to join Jama`t of Isha and keep in mind that while
fisnishing magrib he may miss Jama`t of Isha.
I hope i have putted up the question clearly to you.
Thanks once again.

Answer:
Missed magrib
reached isha congregation
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness
that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this world
and the Hereafter for your kind comments of encouragement for our humble
efforts in the propagation of the Truth.
If our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister
get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves
indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful
to serve in His Cause. We hope, beg, and
pray the Merciful Lord accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgives us our
shortcomings, and saves you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the
Hell Fire. Ameen.
Your
Question: …..When he reached masjid Isah salah was going on, now this man will
join the Jama`t and will finish his Isha salah or he has to finish his Qaza of
magrib first and then he has to join Jama`t of Isha and keep in mind that while
fisnishing magrib he may miss Jama`t of Isha.
If for any genuine
reason one has perchance missed one (or more) of their obligatory prayers, the
absolute majority of the scholars and jurists in Islam are of the opinion that
when making up those missed obligatory prayers, one should strive to maintain
the sequence or the order of their prayer. Thus if one (Allah forbid) has
missed the offering of their obligatory ‘Asr’ and ‘Magrib’ prayers and wish to
make them up at ‘Isha’ time, then first they should offer the ‘qada’ or delayed
prayers of ‘Asr’, then the ‘Magrib’ and then the ‘Isha’.
Now to your specific question….
If one has perchance missed the offering of their ‘Magrib’
prayers, and reaches the masjid before the congregation for the ‘Isha’ prayers
has started, then one should first pray their missed ‘Magrib’ prayers as ‘qada’
and subsequently join the ‘Isha’ congregation with the believers.
But if the person reaches the masjid just when the ‘Isha’
congregation is about to start or has already started, then indeed the person
should join the ‘Isha’ congregation with the believers and then offer the
missed ‘Magrib’ prayers later as ‘qada’.
Wabsah relates that the Messenger of Allah
(saws) saw a man praying behind the rows by himself and the Prophet (saws) ordered
him to repeat his ‘salah’.
Related by Bukhari and Muslim.
A prayer offered by a person alone when a prayer
congregation is in process is unacceptable to Allah Subahnah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
