Egg lawful or unlawful.

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

One brother asked the following question.

Do we have any explanation for that in Quraanic Ayat or do we have any hadid on that? As per your knowledge.

This doubt came on mind that. Egg is non veg and non veg almost all we need to Zuba right then

how we can eat the non veg without Zuba?

Answer:

Egg lawful or unlawful

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah and His Messenger (saws) have guided the believers to perform the ‘dhabiha’ or slaughter only the live lawful animals which one intends to consume as food.

The un-hatched egg of every lawful animal will be considered as lawful food for the believers to consume, and there is absolutely no injunction in Shariah for the believers to ‘slaughter’ the egg before they consume it......it would suffice for them to declare the Blessed Name of Allah and consume the eggs of the lawful animals as food.

But if the infant animal is actually born of the hatched egg, then indeed one would have to do ‘dhabiha’ or slaughter that lawful animal before they consume it as food.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
