acquire knowledge about our religion but i forget what i have read very soon i
feel like sharing what i have read with my friends but can hardly recollect, is

Answer:
Dua to increase
knowledge
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this world
and the Hereafter for your kind comments of encouragement for our humble
efforts in the propagation of the Truth.
If our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister
get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves
indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful
to serve in His Cause. We hope, beg, and
pray the Merciful Lord accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgives us our
shortcomings, and saves you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the
Hell Fire. Ameen.
Your Statement: I read
Quran, hadeeth and books to acquire knowledge about our religion but i forget
what i have read very soon
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.552 Narrated by Abu Musa
The Prophet (saws) said, "Keep on
reciting the Quran, for, by Him (Allah) in Whose Hand my life is, Quran runs
away (is forgotten) faster than camels that are released from their tying
ropes!"
Dear and beloved sister in Islam, the Messenger of Allah
(saws) guided the believers to recite and revise the Glorious Quran as often as
they can or is easy for them, for it is caused to be forgotten sooner than one
can even imagine. Thus the only long
term remedy for remembering knowledge is to constantly use and revise it as
often as one can, or is easy for them.
Your
Question: ….is there any Duwa which can help me not to forget
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 20 Surah Ta
Haa verse 114:
114 High above all is Allah, The King, The Truth! Be not in haste with
the Qur'an before its revelation to thee (O Prophet (saws)) is completed, but
say "O my Lord! Increase me in knowledge."
Upon waking up
from his sleep, the Prophet (saws) would make this supplication: "There is
no God but Thee, Glory be to Thee, I seek forgiveness from You for my sins, and
I ask for your mercy. O Allah, increase my knowledge and let my
heart not swerve after You have guided me, and bestow mercy upon me from
Thyself. All praise be to Allah who has given us back life after our death and
unto Him is the resurrection."
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 2482 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah
Allah's Messenger (saws) used to supplicate
thus: "O Allah, grant me benefit in what Thou hast taught me, teach
me what will benefit me, and increase my knowledge. Praise be to Allah
in all circumstances. I seek refuge in Allah from the state of those who go to
Hell."
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
