Dreams move to new house.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
After
doingIstikhara for shifting in a new flat , (building has a swiiming pool), my
husband dreamt that he got down in the pool with the kids, and later his leg
slipped and he is drowning in the pool.
Should we or we should not shift in the new flat
(There may be some grammatical and spelling

Answer:
Dreams move to new
house
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.144 Narrated by Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "When the
Day of Resurrection approaches, the dreams of a true believer will hardly fail
to come true, and a dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of
Prophetism, and whatever belongs to Prothetism can never be false."
Muhammad bin Sirin said, "It used to be said, 'There are three types of
dreams:
- The
reflection of one's thoughts and experiences one has during wakefulness,
- what
is suggested by the Shaytaan to frighten the dreamer,
- or
glad tidings from Allah.
So, if someone has a dream which he dislikes,
he should not tell it to others, but get up and offer a prayer.'"
Dear and beloved Sister in Islam, in light of the above
guidance, it is more than likely that the dream your husband experienced was no
more than a reflection of the thoughts of fear for the safety of the children
which any loving parent would hold.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 51:
Say: "Nothing
will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our Protector"; and on Allah let the believers put their
trust.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah
Anaam verse 17:
17 If Allah touch thee with affliction none can remove it but He; if He
touch thee with happiness He hath power over all things.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verse 3:
And put your trust in Allah Alone; and enough is
Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
Beloved Sister, one should not fear the occurrences of
such dreams, nor should one change one’s lawful decisions only because they saw
an upsetting dream….but rather the believers should fear and keep their faith
and trust and hope in their Lord Most Majestic Alone, and know with total and
absolute conviction that absolutely nothing can or will happen unto them except
that which their Lord Most Supreme has Decreed for them….Allah Subhanah Alone
Suffices as a Protector, and in Him Alone should the believers put their
unconditional trust and faith.
Your
Question: Should we or we should not shift in the new flat
Beloved Sister, in the Blessed Name of Allah move without
fear into your new accommodation, and keep your faith and trust in the Mercy,
Power and Strength of your Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful …..and know and
believe with total and absolute conviction that absolutely nothing can happen
to you or your family without the Precise Will and Permission of your Lord Most
Merciful.
If you ever fear any evil from any quarter whatsoever,
recite the 113th Surah Al-Falaq and the 114th Surah
An-Naas as often as you can or is easy for you….it is expected that your Lord
Most High will protect you and your family from any and all harm, Insha Allah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
