Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be
upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
In one of your
answers about the decendent of prophet Mohamed you
say Aga Khan has solid proof and claims to be
the direct desendent of ALI and yet is not a good
example of Islam.A lot of what we see Ismailies community is one of the most religious and
flourishing communities and Aga Khan seems to help
not only his community but other communities also. On what basis do you
say of Aga Khan not being a good example of Islam?
Please explain.

Aga Khan
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever
Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can
guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
The following are some of the
official beliefs propagated by Mr. Ashiq H. Hussain of the Aga Khan Federal
Council (AKFC). Please read their

- AKFC (Aga Khan
Federal Council) STATES: Our Salam (greeting) is: "Ya-ali
Madad" and the reply thereto is "Mowla-ali Madad".
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 24 Surah Noor verse 61 (part aayah):When
you enter the houses, you should
invoke ‘salaam’ amongst each other,
for this prayer of greetings prescribed by Allah (salaams) is blessed
and pure. Thus does Allah make his
Revelations clear to you, so that you may understand.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 54: When those come to thee who believe in Our
Signs say: "Peace be on you:
your Lord had inscribed for Himself (the rule of) Mercy: verily if any of you did evil in ignorance, and thereafter
repented and amended (his conduct) Lo!
He is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful."
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 86: When a greeting of salutation is offered to you, meet it with a
greeting still more courteous, or (at least) of equal courtesy. Allah takes careful account of all things.
Abdullah ibn as-Salam reports: "When
the Prophet sallallahu alehi wasallam came to Medinah, the people gathered around him and I was one of
them. The first words I heard him say
were: 'O people, spread the salutations (of salaam), feed the
people, keep the ties of kinship, and pray during the night while the others
sleep, and you will enter paradise in
peace."' This is related by al-Hakim, Ibn Majah, and at-Tirmidhi.
The greetings of the believers
as taught by Allah and His Last Messenger (saws) is ‘As-Salaam o Aleikum’ and the reply is ‘Aleikum
us –Salaam wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh’. The
misguided Aga Khanis have
changed the salutations of Islam, and have substituted it with their own
words and beliefs of ‘shirk’!
2. AKFC STATES:
Our 'Kalima' (Testimony) is: "Ashhado an la ilaha
il-Allaho wa ashhado anna Muhammad-ur-Rasool-Ullahe wa ashhado anna Ameer-ul-Momineen
Ali-Ullah (i.e. I testify that there is no god except
Allah and I testify that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger and I testify that ALI
IS ALLAH = H.H. The Aga Khan).
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 112 Surah Ikhlaas verse 1: Say: He is Allah, the One and Only;
Ibn 'Abbas reported that when the Prophet (saws) sent Mu'adh ibn Jabal

of faith or Shahaadah of the believers is ‘There is
no god but Allah Alone,
and Mohamed (saws) is His Messenger’. The misguided Aga Khanis have changed this first pillar of Islam and have
substituted it with their own words of ‘shirk’!
3. AKFC
STATES: We need not to perform 'Wudhu' (ablution) because
our 'Wudhu' is of heart (i.e. not of action).
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter5 Surah Maidah verse 6:O you who have
believed! When you rise to offer the Salat,
you must wash your faces and hands and your arms up to the
elbows, and wipe your hands with wet
hands and wash your feet up to the ankles.
And if you become unclean, cleanse yourself with a full
bath. If, however, you have ‘touched’ women and you can find no
water, then cleanse yourselves with pure
dust. Strike your palms on it and wipe
your hands and faces with it. Allah
does not will to make life hard for you, but He wills to purify you, and complete His blessings upon you so that you
may show gratitude.
Yahya related from Malik
from Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini that his father
once asked Abdullah ibn Zayd
ibn Asim, who was the
grandfather of Amr ibn Yahya al-Mazini and one of the
companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws), if he could show him how the
Messenger of Allah (saws) performed wudu. Abdullah ibn Zayd ibn Asim
agreed to do so and asked for water to do wudu. He poured some out on to his hand and washed
each hand twice, and then rinsed his
mouth and snuffed water up his nose and blew it out three times. Then he washed his face three times, and both of his
arms up to the elbows twice. He then
wiped his head with both hands, taking his hands from hisforehead
to the nape of his neck and then bringing them back to where he had begun. Then he washed his feet.
Allah and His Messenger (saws)
commanded the believers to perform the wudu and
purify oneself with water or pure dust.
The misguided Aga Khanis
do not perform the wudu, as their belief is that their ‘wudu’ is of the heart!
4. AKFC
STATES: Instead of 'Namaz'
it is mandatory for every Aga Khani
to attend the Jamatkhana to chant the 'Dua' (Prayer) three times a day in place of five times'
incumbent 'Namaz' (Canonical Prayers).
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 103:Indeed, the salaat is a
prescribed duty that should be performed at the appointed times by the
believers.
The Messenger of Allah (saws)
said in an authentic narration: “The difference between Islam and “kufr” is As-salaat.”
Allah Subhanah
has made the five prayers obligatory on every believer! But the misguided Aga
Khanis do not believe in this form of worship and
have formed their own ritual of worship instead of the ‘salaah’!
5. AKFC STATES: Standing and knealing
is not required in our prayers.
The misguided Aga Khanis do not believe in wudu and As-Salaah; nor the obligatory acts of Salaah!
6. AKFC STATES: Nor we need
to face Qiblah, we can pray with our face in any direction for which it is very
important to bring the Hazir Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan) in our perception in the prayers.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 149-150:
149 From whencesoever thou
startest forth, turn thy face in
the direction of the Sacred Mosque;
that is indeed the truth from thy Lord.
And Allah is not unmindful of what ye do.
150
So from whencesoever thou startest forth, turn thy face in
the direction of the Sacred Mosque; among wheresoever
ye are turn your face thither that there be no ground of dispute against you
among the people, except those of them
that are bent on wickedness; so fear
them not, but fear Me; and that I may
complete My favors on you and ye may (consent to) be guided.
Allah has commanded the
believers to turn their faces in the direction of the Sacred Mosque in
Prayer. The misguided Aga Khanis have made the Aga Khan their qiblah!
7. AKFC STATES: Fast (Roza) is
fundamentally of eye, ear and tongue. It cannot be broken by eating and
drinking. Our 'Roza' (Fast) is for one-and-a-quarter
'Pahar' (about 4-1/2 hours) which is broken at
Allah
says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 verse 183:O Believers, the Fast has been made obligatory on
you just as it was prescribed for the followers of the Prophets before
you. It is expected that this will produce
piety in you. The fast is to be
observed for a fixed number of days.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 185 (part):… Therefore from now on, whosoever witness it (the month of
Ramadan), it is obligatory on him to
fast the whole month.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 187 (part):… You are
also permitted to eat and drink (during the nights of the fast month), until you can
discern the white streak of dawn from the blackness of the night. Then complete your fast till nightfall……..
Sunan of Abu-Dawood
Hadith 2349 Narrated
by Anas ibn Malik
The Apostle of
Allah (saws) used to break his fast before praying with some fresh dates; but
if there were no fresh dates, he had a few dry dates, and if there were no dry
dates, he took some mouthfuls of water.
Allah Subhanah
has made the fasts of Ramadan obligatory on every believer; but the misguided Aga
Khanis believe the fasts are fundamentally of the
eyes, ears, and tongue!
8. AKFC
STATES: In place of Zakat we pay two annas per rupee ("Dasond")
in the Ismaili Jamatkhana
considering it mandatory.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 60: Alms are for the poor and the needy and those
employed to administer the (funds); for those whose hearts have been (recently)
reconciled (to truth); for those in bondage and in debt; in the cause of Allah;
and for the wayfarer: (thus is it) ordained by Allah and Allah is
full of knowledge and wisdom.
Allah Subhanah
has made the payment of zakat obligatory on every
believer; but
the misguided Aga Khanis
have substituted the command of Allah for a ‘dasond’
which they pay to their ‘Jamaatkhaana’!
9. AKFC STATES: Our Hajj (Pilgrimage) is the vision
(sighting) of Hazir Imam {(H.H. The Aga Khan) [(that is because Hazir
Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan is the only incarnation of
the God on the earth)]}.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verses 96-97:Undoubtedly the
first House of Worship ever to be built for mankind is the one which is at Makkah. It was
blessed, and
made the center of guidance for all the peoples. In it are clear Signs; there is a spot where Ibraheem
used to worship; and
it is the Santuary,
and whoever enters it becomes safe and secure. Allah has, therefore, a right on the people that the one, who can afford to reach the house, should perform Hajj there. And the one who disobeys (this commandment
should know that) Allah is Self-Sufficient, and does not stand in need of anyone.
Allah Subhanah
has made the pilgrimage of Hajj obligatory on every eligible believer; but the misguided Aga Khanis have substituted this
great pilgrimage for the vision or sighting of the Aga
Khan!!!! They falsely believe that the Aga Khan is the ‘incarnation’ of Allah on the earth, whereas Allah Subhanah has Himself declared in the Glorious Quran that there is absolutely nothing like unto Him in the Whole Universe!!!!
Allah says describing
Himself in the Holy Quran Chapter 42 Surah Ash-Shura verse 11:
There is Absolutely nothing like Him (Allah) in the whole Universe!!! He is the All-Hearing, The
All-Seeing!! To Him Alone belong the
keys of the treasures of the heavens and the earth!!
10. AKFC STATES: Rather we have with us speaking/talking Quran, that is Hazir Imam (H.H.
The Aga Khan) who is present, but the Musalmans (Muslims) have got merely a void Book i.e. Quran.
These misguided Aga Khanis consider the Glorious Quran a void Book, and believe in their supposedly
self-named ‘speaking/talking Quran’ as the Aga Khan!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verse 29:Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your Lord: now whosoever wills may accept it, and whosoever wills may reject it.” (As for
those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a fire whose
flames have encircled them. There, if they ask for
water , they will be given a drink like
the dregs of oil, which will burn their
mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil
abode!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam verse 157-158:Now that a clear proof, a Guidance and Blessing, has come to you from
your Lord, who can be more unjust than
the one who treats Our Revelations as false and turns away from them? We will inflict the severest torment on
those who turn away from Our Revelations because of their aversion. Do the people now await
that the angels should come down before them?
Or that your Lord may Himself come down?
Or that the manifest Signs of your Lord should appear?
11. AKFC STATES: Mukhi Saheb dissipate our sins for
(the period from) morning to evening by sprinkling drops (of water"i.e. Chantta").
If any person amongst us cannot attend the Ismaili Jamatkhana every day, he can get his sins atoned by getting
the drops spinkled (on him) by Mukhi
and by drinking 'GHATPAT' (holy water) on Fridays against payment of money in
the Ismaili Jamatkhana, and
if anyone cannot attend Ismaili Jamatkhana
on Fridays he can get the sins of the whole month condoned by means of
the said ceremonies on the night the moon is sighted, against payment of money.
The misguided Aga Khanis have invented their
own deen in the name of Islam, and have found a thriving business in
‘forgiving’ the sins of their followers!
12. AKFC STATES: The mode of our worship is:-
The Hazir Imam (H.H. The Aga
Khan) gives us a 'Word'/ISM-E-AZAM for which we pay Rs.75/- the worship whereof
we perform in the later part of the night. For atonement of worships for
5 years we pay Rs.500/-, for 12 years Rs.1,200/- and
for Life Membership (to get the worships for the whole life pardoned) we pay
Rs.5000/- in the Jamatkhanas. NOORANI: To obtain the
'noor' (light) of Hazir
Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan) we pay Rs.7,000/- in the Jamatkhanas, whence
we got the 'Noor' of Hazir
Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan). FIDAYEEN: To
get ourselves pardoned on the Day of Judgement (Qiyamat) by Hazir Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan) i.e. (linked) towards the expenses (to be
incurred) for getting our 'Noor' linked with that of
the Hazir Imam (H.H. The Aga
Khan) we pay Rs.25,000/- in the Ismaili Jamatkhana.
This is how the leadership of
the Aga Khanis forgive the sins of the rich and famous! The Aga Khan even
claims to get his follower’s sins forgiven on the Day of Judgment; at a price, of course!
13. AKFC STATES: Our religion is centuries old. No one
has criticized it till this date. Had our religion been untrue it should
have come to an end long ago. Now, if the Musalmans
(Muslims) or their Ulemas (Religious Scholars) see
any flaw in our religion or if they have any objection, why do not they seek
explanation from our office bearers of the H.R.H. Prince Aga
Khan Federal Council for
Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan)? Are they
afraid of our Hazir Imam (H.H. The Aga Khan)? For centuries the Ulemas
(Religious Scholars) of the Musalmans (Muslims) have
never criticized our Ismaili religion then from where
have the Ulemas (Religious Scholars) of the fifteenth
century awaken to criticize us. During every period, we have enjoyed the
support of the Government of the time. Then this is the very fact of the
genuineness of our Ismaili religion.
The misguided Aga Khanis base the fact of the
genuineness of their Ismaili religion on the support
of the government! The Truth of
Al-Islam can only be determined by what is declared by Allah Subhanah and His Messenger (saws), not some corrupt, illegal,
worldly government!

is the Quran and the Sunnah! These misguided followers of the Aga Khan have invented their own ‘shahaadah’, they have disowned
the ‘salaah’,
they do not pay the ‘zakaah’, they don’t believe in the Hajj pilgrimage to
the Sacred House of Allah, they believe
that the Aga Khan is the ‘incarnation’ of Allah, etc. etc.
They have completely disowned the guidance and teachings of the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the
Messenger of Allah (saws);
and you want the believers to provide you a basis or evidence for
their dis-belief????? Not following even one of the above
obligatory acts of Islam is enough to declare a person a disbeliever!!!

and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger
(saws), he can be assured of following
the Straight Path; but if one
believes, obeys and follows any other
guidance, other than that of Allah and
His Messenger (saws), he can be assured
of being led astray.

benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
