I normally listen to the Quran when I`m in the car. The only problem I face is that the speakers are at the bottom of the doors so they are close to my feet.

One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Salam Alaykum,
I normally listen to the Quran when I`m in the car. The only problem I face is
that the speakers are at the bottom of the doors so they are close to my feet.
Is it still ok for me to listen to the Quran as I don`t intend any disrespect,
but want to gain the most spiritual benefit from it. May Allah (s.w.a.) bless
you and your colleagues for all your good work, Ameen.

Answer:
Listen to Quran in
car
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
As long as one fears Allah and does not mean any
disrespect whatsoever, there is absolutely no harm or prohibition in listening
to the recitation of the Glorious Quran in one’s car, regardless of where the
speakers of the audio system in the car may be located.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 23 Surah
Muminoon verse 62:
62 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us
is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
