Answer:
Condoms lawful
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the
Holy Quran Chapter 30 Surah Rome verse 21:
21 And among His Signs is this that He created for you mates from among
yourselves that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put
love and mercy between your (hearts); verily in that are Signs for
those who reflect.
Dear and beloved brother in
Islam, regardless of the conditions that led to your marriage, if you have
married the sister, then it is absolutely obligatory upon you to honor your
vows of marriage and give your wife her rights in full. If you do not fulfill your rights due to your
wife in marriage, you will be guilty of transgression and injustice in the Just
and Supreme Court of Allah Subhanah in the Hereafter.
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Hadith 7.136 Narrated byJ abir
We used to
practice coitus interruptus during the lifetime of Allah's Messenger (saws),
while the Qur'an was being Revealed.
When some of the companions of
the Prophet (saws) wished to space their children, they would practice the
concept called ‘coitus interruptus’ meaning at the exact time of ejaculation,
they would remove their private organs from their wives. Although when asked, the Messenger of Allah
(saws) did not encourage it, he did not declare it forbidden.
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Hadith 5.459 Narrated by Ibn
Muhairiz
So when we
intended to do coitus interruptus, we said, 'How can we do coitus interruptus
before asking Allah's Messenger (saws) who is present among us?' We asked (him) about it and he (saws) said,
'It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul is predestined to exist, it
will exist.' "
The using of condoms serves the
same purpose as the process of ‘coitus interruptus’; and if one’s intention in
using it is to space one’s children, there is no sin. But if one uses it to prevent having children
permanently, then it would indeed be against the principles of Islam and a
grave sin in the sight of Allah Subhanah.
If one trusts, obeys, and
follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being
misled; but if one believes, obeys and
follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best
and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
