I heard a women say that all human beings have been born due to a sin

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

4176 every child born in sin.is this correct ?

how would the world have increased if we do not have children?

(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)

Answer:

Every child born in sin

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: i heard a women say that all human beings have been born due to a sin .is this correct ?

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 6.298 Narrated by Abu Huraira

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "No child is born except on ‘Al-Fitra’ (pure, perfect and pristine nature of Islam) and then his parents make him Jewish, Christian or Magian, etc. Then he (saws) recited: "The religion of pure Islamic Faith (Hanifa, i.e. to worship none but Allah), The pure Allah's Islamic nature with which He (Allah) has created mankind. Let There be no change in Allah's religion (i.e. to join none in Allah's worship). That is the straight religion; but most of men know not..." (Holy Quran 30.30)

Islam guides that every child is born absolutely innocent, free from even an iota of a sin, and on the pure, perfect, and pristine ‘fitra’ or nature.

The false concept and notion that every child is born due to or in sin is a belief and propagated by our Christian brethren, to accommodate their absolutely false and blasphemous saying that Christ Jesus (a.s.), son of Mary was sent (and I seek Allah’s refuge in saying this) and crucified to forgive the sins of mankind! To accommodate their false sayings and belief, they claim that man was sent on earth as a punishment for the sin of their parents Adam and Hawwa, which they committed by disobeying their Lord by eating of the tree in Paradise which was forbidden to them.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 20 Surah Ta Ha verses 116-124:

116 When We (Allah) said to the Angels "Prostrate yourselves to Adam" they prostrated themselves but not Iblees: he refused!

117 Then We said: "O Adam! Verily, this (Iblees) is an enemy to thee and thy wife: so let him not get you both out of the Garden so that thou art landed in misery.

118 There is therein (enough provision) for thee not to go hungry nor to go naked

119 Nor to suffer from thirst nor from the sun's heat."

120 But the Shaytaan whispered evil to him: he said "O Adam! Shall I lead thee to Tree of Eternity and to a kingdom that never decays?"

121 In the result they both ate of the tree and so their nakedness appeared to them: they began to sew together for their covering leaves from the Garden: thus did Adam disobey His Lord and allow himself to be seduced.

122 But his Lord chose him (for His Grace): He turned to him in forgiveness and gave him Guidance.

123 He (Allah) said: "Get ye down, both of you all together from the Garden with enmity one to another; but if as is sure there comes to you Guidance from Me, whosoever follows My Guidance will not lose his way nor fall into misery.

124 But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment."

In light of the above absolutely crystal clear guidance of the Holy Quran, it is absolutely evident that the Lord Most Merciful turned towards Prophet Adam (a.s.) in forgiveness, forgave him of his sin, gave him guidance, and then the Lord sent them to earth to fulfill their test for an appointed and decreed time.

The Lord Most High did not send man to the earth as a punishment for the sin of their parents for it does not behove the All-Just, All-Wise Lord to punish someone after He has forgiven them, nor does it befit the Majesty and Justice of the Lord to punish anyone other than the ones who committed the sins themselves; but rather the Lord sent man to earth to fulfill the decreed test for an appointed time.

Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 67 Surah Al Mulk verse 2: He (Allah) created death and life that He may test you, to see which of you is the best in deeds.

Every human being that is born is born absolutely innocent of sin, and it is only his deeds that would determine whether he is righteous or unrighteous.

Your Question: how would the world have increased if we do not have children?

Beloved Sister, I am not sure whether I understand your question, for it is only through the natural process of bearing children that the population of the earth has increased from one set of parents to billions and billions of human beings through the passage of time.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 1: O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord Who created you from a single person (Adam (a.s.), created of like nature his mate (Hawwa), and from them twain scattered countless men and women; reverence Allah through Whom ye demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allah ever watches over you.

If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of being led astray.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
