Answer:

Need guidance

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Your Question: Firstly, i want to keep away from sins. I rarely say my five times prayers and i often skip my Friday`s Prayer. I tried to keep aways from sins i even makes promise to myself but the very next day i again start doing what i hate. Please help me i seriously need guidance.

Dear and Beloved Brother in Islam, there is none in the annuls of creation who does not need or require guidance; and the only way to seek guidance is to remember the certainty of the appointment of death and the inevitable meeting with one’s Creator where each and every one, without exception, will be required to give a full accounting of the deeds one did in their appointed test period of one life!

And the best way to keep this inevitable and unavoidable appointment of death and the life hereafter in constant remembrance is to constantly attach oneself with the clear guidance of the Glorious Quran. However busy the life of this transient worldly life might have beguiled oneself in, if one makes the intention to seek true guidance and makes a sincere effort to read, understand, and implement the clear and noble guidance of the Holy Quran into their lives, it is expected that their Lord will guide them to the Path that leads to His Mercy and Forgiveness.

Thus my beloved brother, make sincere intention that you wish to be guided aright, make sincere intention that from this day forward, you will make an effort to once a day, read with understanding at least one page or even one paragraph of the Noble Book of Guidance, the Al-Quran, and beseech and implore your Lord Creator in utter and absolute awe and humility to guide you to the Path that leads to His Mercy and Forgiveness; it is expected that you will find your Lord Most Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 185: Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this Book is a Perfect Guidance for mankind and consists of clear Teachings which show the Right Way, and are a Criterion of the Truth and falsehood.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 89: We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have surrendered themselves entirely.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Ha Mim As Sajdaah verse 2-4: This is a Revelation from the All-Compassionate, the All-Merciful Allah. A Book whose verses are well-expounded, an Arabic Quran for the people who want to understand, and a giver of good news and a warner.

Allah is our witness, if one is indeed sincere about seeking guidance, one need not look any further than the Noble guidance of the Quran and the authentic and established Sunnah of the Last and Final Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws)!

May Allah Subhanah bless you, your family, and help you in your noble journey to the Path that leads to His Forgiveness and Mercy.

Secondly, my mom suffered an accident in which her one eye got affected. Her one eye`s vision is temporarily lost, the doctors say that i will return in a few months when her wounds are healed. I need a Dua which can be helpful.

Amongst the absolute best dua or supplication one who is sick or ill can make is the supplication that the Noble Prophet Ayyub (a.s.) made to the Merciful Lord when he was afflicted by severe illness and insurmountable calamities, as related by Allah Subhanah Himself in His Glorious Quran; it is expected that their Lord Most Gracious, Most Merciful will respond to their call.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verses 83-84:

83 And (remember) Ayyub, when he cried to his Lord "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."

84 So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration for all who serve Us.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
