Answer:
Hair removal and nose stud
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: a lot of people
have told me dat removing hair from your body is haraam,is this true?
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.777 Narrated
by Abu Huraira
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Five practices are characteristics of the ‘Fitrah’ (in accordance with nature): clipping the nails,
removing hair from the pubic region, removing the hair from under the armpits,
and cutting the moustaches short and circumcision (for men)."
It is
encouraged in Islam and an act of Sunan-al-Fitrah (in
accordance with nature) for a believing woman to clip her nails and remove
unwanted hair from under her armpits and her pubic region.
There is
absolutely no harm or restriction in Islam if a believing woman wishes to
remove unwanted hair from any other part of her body; the only part where it is
absolutely prohibited for a believing woman, who sincerely believes in Allah
and the Last Day, to remove or change or alter her hair is from her eye-brows.
Sahih Al-Bukhari 7.815 Narrated by Abdullah
I heard the Messenger of Allah say: ‘Allah has cursed those women
who practice tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those
who remove their eye-brow hairs, and those who create a space between
their teeth artificially to look beautiful, and such women as change the
features created by Allah.’ Why then
should I not curse those whom the Prophet (saws) has cursed?
Other
than from her eye-brows, it is absolutely permissible in Islam for a believing
woman to remove any unwanted hair from any part of her body she wishes.
Your Question: i
remove hair through waxing not shaving is because then i
feel clean,is this wrong?
There is
absolutely no harm or restriction in Islam if one wishes to shave, cut, clip,
pull, wax, use hair removal cream, or any other method of hair removal
available at their disposal.
Your Question: two females told me
that wearing a nose stud is haraam,i
have looked this up in many islamic books but i couldnt find the answer to
whether this is haraam.
There is
absolutely nothing in the Quran or the Sunnah which
restricts or prohibits a believing woman from wearing a nose-ring or nose-stud,
if she wishes to do so.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me alone.

Your Brother in Islam,
