Answer:
Cover head while
remembering Allah
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 24 Surah
Nur verse 31:
31 And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and
guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments
except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils
over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their
fathers, their husbands' fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their
brothers, or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or
the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical
needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they
should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! Turn ye all together towards Allah that ye may
attain bliss.
Dear and Beloved Sister, Allah Subhanah has commanded the
believing women to guard their modesty and cover themselves when in the
presence of non-mehram males. In the
presence of their mehram male relatives, or their womenfolk, or in the presence
of small children there is absolutely no harm if the women adorns her beauty
and uncovers her hair.
Your Question: I
came to know that whenever we can remember our Lord Allah Subhanah Wa Tala but
is it compulsory to cover our head?
The Messenger of Allah (saws) specifically commanded the
believing woman to cover themselves completely when offering their prayers,
regardless of whether they are alone in their homes or in the presence of
mehrams or non-mehrams.
The believing woman is only commanded to cover herself
completely when in the presence of non-mehram males and when in prayer. Other
than that there is absolutely no obligation or compulsion on the believing
woman to cover her hair if she wishes to remember her Lord, glorify Him through
‘tasbeeh’, recite the Quran, make supplications, etc.
Your Question: In my
house accept me no others will be there i am staying alone no boy will be there
even though i should cover my head?
If there is no fear of any non-mehram male entering the
house or seeing her, there is absolutely no compulsion or obligation for the
believing woman to cover her hair when she is in her house or anywhere else. She is commanded by her Lord to guard strictly
her modesty and cover herself only in the presence of non-mehram males and when
offering her prayers. At all other
times, she may adorn herself with beauty as much as she wishes.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in
Islam,
Burhan
