Answer:
Dua to cure
disease
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
First and
foremost, we as believers, must try to understand and
comprehend that Allah Subhanah did not reveal the Quran to teach or guide mankind towards the sciences and
technical expertise in medicine, or astronomy, or agriculture, or chemistry, or
architecture, etc. These are amongst the
knowledge of the physical world which man has the capability and the ability to
learn from his own experiences and experiments.
The Holy Quran was revealed by Allah Subhanah
as a manual for the guidance of mankind, to invite and teach mankind how to
live a life that would win the approval and Mercy of the Creator. It was revealed to invite mankind to come out
of their spiritual darkness, and come to the spiritual light of living a life
in submission to the Will of the One Lord and Creator of the Worlds.
Allah says in Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah aayat 185
"Ramadan is the month in which the Quran
was sent down: this Book is a Perfect Guidance for mankind and consists of
clear Teachings which show the

My
beloved brother in Islam, it would be best to accept the advice and medicine of
the medical doctors, who are the best qualified people to apply their knowledge
for this physical condition, and then put your full trust in Allah Subhanah.
One of
the best supplications to make when one is visited by a trial from Allah Subhanah in the form of a physical disease is the dua made by the Prophet Ayyub (a.s.) to Allah Subhanah during
his long illness, as related by Allah Subhanah in the
Glorious Quran.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah Anbiyaa verses 83-84:
83 And (remember) Ayyub
when he cried to his Lord "Truly distress has seized me, but Thou
art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful."
84 So We listened
to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to
him and doubled their number as a Grace from Ourselves and a thing for
commemoration for all who serve Us.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.571 Narrated
by Ibn Masud
I visited the Prophet (saws) while he was having a high fever. I
touched him and said, "You have a very high fever". He (saws) said, "Yes, as much fever as
two of you may have." I said, "You will have a double
reward?" He (saws) said,
"Yes. No Muslim is afflicted with
hurt caused by disease or some other inconvenience, but that Allah will remove
his sins as a tree sheds its leaves."
Whatever written
of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever
of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows
Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Brother in Islam,
