As Salaam Aleikum wa
Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be

Hello Burhan,
Can you tell more about your father and mother. I have a friend
who says that you will not reply

More details of parents
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
My father was a simple man, who
unfortunately died on the Bohra faith and belief about 13 years ago. Had he been alive, I would have done my best
to invite him to the Truth of Al-Islam.
My elderly mother is alive, and a devout believer in the Syedna and the
Bohra way of life. We have tried our
best to invite her to the Truth of the Holy Quran, to read it or hear it and understand it; but she says that she is not allowed by the
Bohra priests and hierarchy to understand the Quran, nor do they teach it themselves!
She is old of age, and has a multitude of ailments, but she devoutly adheres to every rite and
ritual of the Bohra way of life. She
has been commanded by the local ‘aamil’ to completely disassociate herself from
us, because we have left the Bohra way of life…she used to live happily in my
house, and I was honored to serve her
for many years…but the ‘kothaar’ would regularly taunt her and ultimately
commanded her to leave my house as it was ‘haraam’ for her to stay in my house,
or eat the food from my house, or take the money I earned, or associate with me
in any way! And one tumultuous day a
couple of years ago, she left my house
never to return and now stays with one of my brothers who follows the Bohra way
of life.
I still try to meet her
regularly, and as long as I don’t mention anything about Islam or Quran and
Sunnah, she is fine with me. But
whenever any topic on Islam starts, she gets very angry and tries to prove that
the Bohra way of life is correct from the stories of falsehood she has heard
all her life in the ‘waaz’! But when
we try to tell her the Truth is what Allah and His Messenger (saws) have
declared, she absolutely refuses to
believe anything from the Glorious Quran and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah
(saws).
We have tried everything in our
power and ability to invite her to the Truth of the Quran, and fear Allah Subhanah Alone and the Last
Day…but she is confident in the false promises made to her by her Maulana, and has the false delusion that Paradise is
guaranteed to the Bohra believers of the Syedna! And we take solace only from the Guidance of the Merciful Lord
when He Says in the Glorious Quran:
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 28 Surah Qasas verse 56:You cannot guide whom you love, but Allah guides whomever He Pleases. And He best knows those who would accept
guidance.
May Allah Subhanah have Mercy on
my mother, and open her heart to accept the Truth of the Glorious Quran. May Allah Subhanah give her the wisdom and
the courage to recognize the Truth of the Quran from the falsehood of her
beliefs. May Allah Subhanah have Mercy
on her and take not her life, except as
a true believer in the clear verses of the Glorious Quran. Ameen.
Beloved brother, I really don’t know what inspired you to ask this question about my parents; and whatever it is, we have nothing to hide except their identity because of the pain and suffering the ‘kothaar’ may cause my aged and sick mother. If there is anything else you would like to know about my parents, except their identity, please do not hesitate to ask….I really do not know how this might help, but if this helps in anyway to bring you closer to the Truth of the Glorious Quran, we will be more than honored to reply to your queries.
We ask for absolutely no reward
or thanks from you or anyone else for this our humble effort that we do in the
propagation of the Truth from the guidance and teachings of Allah and His
Messenger (saws). We only seek the
Pleasure and Good-Will of our Merciful Lord on the Day when nothing but His
Mercy and Grace will be the difference between the eternal life of Bliss, and the ever-lasting torture of Hell
Fire. We humbly hope, beg,
and pray the Merciful Lord
accepts our humble and weak efforts,
forgives us our shortcomings,
and saves you, us, and all the
believers from the torment of the Hell Fire.
Ameen.
Your
Statement: I have a friend who says that you will not reply
It is
indeed obvious that your friend does not know me, for if he had, he would know that I would not hesitate to reply
your simple question in the least. I
really hope and pray that the information I have provided is sufficient and
useful to your friend, for whatever purpose he might have any interest in my
parents. If the information is not
sufficient, he is welcome to ask me anything, and I will be honored to answer
to his queries. If this information
about my parents can bring him even a step closer to the Truth of the Quran and
Sunnah; this would indeed have been a worthwhile exercise. Although I don’t know your friend, please
do convey to him my best regards and salaams from his brother in faith and
humanity. May Allah Subhanah bless him
from His Grace, bestow upon him
contentment in the life of this world,
and honor him with Paradise in the Hereafter. Ameen.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
Burhan
