Answer:

History of Islam

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Beloved brother, the Seerah (life events) of the Messenger of Allah (saws) and the History of Islam are so rich and so diverse, that even if one wrote volumes of books on it, he would have just touched the tips of the icebergs! There is absolutely no way one can write the complete History of Islam and the Seerah (life events) of the Messenger of Allah (saws) in one article. There are countless books published on these two subjects by eminent scholars, and if one indeed wants to study about the History or Seerah, he must refer to the books written.

For a start try and order the following book from Amazon.com.

Muhammad (His life based on the earliest sources) by Martin Lings

ISBN 0-89281-170-6

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
