assala mu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa baraka tu i wanted to ask in islam can a man mary a women if he is one year younger does islam says that it is not allowed

Answer:

Is a marriage permissible if the man is younger than the woman?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Islam has permitted a man or a woman to marry at any age after the age of puberty. A 80 year old man may marry a 15 year old girl; or an 80 year old woman may marry a 15 year old boy! There is absolutely no restriction or condition on age, except that both the partners must be beyond the age of puberty.

The Messenger of Allah (saws) himself married Hadrat Khadijah (r.a.) when he was 25 and she was 40.
