Answer:
Is Wudu necessary after Gusl ?
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
How we got your email address?
Brother, we have several thousand addresses on our
mailing list, and frankly we do not
exactly know how we got your email address.
Maybe it’s a blessing from the All Merciful. Or maybe one of your friends recommended us to add your email
address to our mailing list.
Ref: How to get your friends on our mailing list?
All you
need to do is send us their email addresses in any form convenient to you, and we shall, Insha Allah, add them to
our mailing list. You may even send a
blank email to subscribe@dawoodibohrahelpline.com
Question: Is it necessary to do ‘wudoo’ after ‘Ghusal’
(full bath or shower)?
Regarding doing ‘wudoo’ after
taking a ‘ghusal’, please note that the
‘ghusal’ itself is a bigger form of
purification than the ‘wudoo’, that is
why ‘wudoo’ is not necessary. The
Sunnah of the Prophet here is that especially after ‘Janaaba’ (sexual
intercourse), he would first wash his
private parts, then perform
‘wudoo’, and then take the bath or
shower. This is the Sunnah way of
purification. Even if one just takes
the ‘ghusal’, it will more than
suffice, but of-course, to do the Sunnah way of purification is
always better in the sight of Allah Subhanah.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your
brother and well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
